Probably the right trade, but ouch. That would probably be the best trade to contend over the next two years. After that it's a rebuild anyway.

Not a contender with him anyways, lets be honest. Warriors will be there until they lose Klay (or someone else) and Lebron+Kawhi+Kuzma will be strong too

Getting rid of Turner makes it hurt less. I like Collins, but don't think his upside is beyond solid role player. I'd prefer to trade him while he's an excellent prospect.

Going into last year's draft, if we had been given the option to trade 15/20/Turner/future first for Aldridge, wouldn't we have done so?

Or even better, going back to 2017 trade deadline--15/Turner/Plumlee/future 1st/future 2nd for Aldridge/Nurkic? Yes, in a heartbeat.

Sure, but that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt.

I think Collins could be more than that, but probably not all-star level. And, if you really want to invest in Dame's window then you do this trade.

Agree on Warriors, but not so quick on LBJ and Kawhi. I don't trust his health. That team feels like OKC to me. Looks good on paper, but just doesn't work out.

I would actually love to hear Dame's thoughts on bringing Aldridge back. Dame seems like a pretty forgiving guy if it means more wins.

I'd welcome Aldridge back on this team. Aldridge wouldn't have to sholders such a load and be heavily accounted on.

Exactly, he would want to due less, with more touches.

    NO!

Well when you have a super-team in GS and there's about to be a super-team in LA, why even try for the next couple years? Gotta wait for those teams to crumble.
