Mets’ Assistant GM, John Ricco with Omar Nimaya & J.P.Ricciardi are contemplating trading Jacob DeGrom, 30
years old & Noah Syndergaard, 25 yrs old & others....but I seriously doubt they will trade with the Yankees......unless
Cashman dumps his whole farm system to the Mets. Teams showing real interest are the Milwaukee Brewers,
Atlanta Braves, LA Dodgers, Chicago Cubs, Philadelphia Phillies & the Washington Nationals. Where are the AL
clubs? I guess the asking price is too high for the junior league teams!!!

Saw an article on ESPN claiming Milwaukee would best be able to deliver what the Mets would be seeking for De Grom. And you're right Cashman would have to deplete the farm to make that happen. Ifthe Yankees acquire Happ as a rental it will solve some issues. They also have to get rid of the usual suspects of position player non-performers.

If the current score in Boston holds the Angels will have been series swept by Boston. Angels have been outscored 45-10. Against the top two East Division Teams the Angels are 1-11. I don't think they are going to make the playoffs.

Just saw the top players with the highest OBSP with Pink Hatters’ #1 Betts 1.111 & #3 JD Martínez 1.050.....with Angels’ Trout at #2 1.103. They are the toughest to get out this year. Sox are loaded with hitters. How will Yankees’ pitching
plan on getting these guys out. Tough task ahead especially with team hitting on the downside lately.
BTW, Aaron Judge is #8 with .950.

Again, I just wish Cashman will call up their key player catalyst in “Toe” Torreyes. This kid spread a positive
energy in that dugout. Terrible calculation by Cashman & Boone. Besides, we all can see that Walker is
killing us at the plate. Wake up, you stubborn arse!(I withhold this comment until a later time)...see below*.

    * Just saw Scranton player listing. They have a “temporary inactive” status for “Toe”. What does that mean?

I don't kno which moron made the decision to send Toe down , probably Cashman with no balls Boone as the "yes" man. I heard that move was a disappointment to the regulars who knew what the man brought to the game each day. If Toe get back up to the big club we'll see results, if they keep sending Walker out there well see failure.

...I think the key to slowing good hitters like Martinez is to get that first pitch over while favoring the corners and get ahead in the count so that they can't be sitting on a fast ball...and PLEASE, stop throwing this guy FBs down the middle of the plate.

...when Martinez is ahead in the count he's hitting .446 ....when he's behind in the count he's hitting .198.
