Baron has been jawing all night (and was ejected), Jax has been jawing all night; they are very frustrated and they aren't playing efficient basketball.
Dam...this sucks for Baron and the Warriors. I was rooting for the Warriors in this series because of Baron too.

And yeah, Wade only did it once for about 3 seconds, Baron kept going. I understand that and I definitely know that he was in the wrong. He knows better.
Overall, decent game. Dallas took control after a bad start and never looked back.Davis and Jackson are complete morons. Jackson could have very well cost them the series if he gets suspended for game 3.
Looks like Dallas will win game 2, and finally get our first playoff win of 07'.I thought the 3rd quarter was key for us, we got into the penalty and used it with continually driving to the basket. We still settled for some jumpers but improvement from game 1. Also, I thought we controlled the pace better. One thing to come away from this game, how easily the Warriors got rattled from those techs. They just came apart after that and never played their game. Seemed too busy with the officials on every play, than just playing the game. Something that shows the difference between a playoff tested team and a non one.*Claps for Baron Davis*I thought it was pretty funny how after he was tossed, the announcers said he was saying all he did was just clap. I mean come on Baron, you were trying to make a point and stand up the official. Who going by the announcers said Salvatore told Nellie for him to stop and also who the hell claps after a foul call for that long?
Now can somebody explain to me why Joe Crawford got suspended and Bennett Salvador didn't? I mean Bennett Salvador called two jive technicals that should not have been on Baron, and whistled freakin' every other play. The Warriors did not deserve to win this game in the least, but they should have at least had an even playing field. This may have been the worst officiated game I've seen all year. Salvador has always had a vendetta against the Warriors (it's widely known), but he's never gone this far. He should be suspended for this type of crap, but won't because BD isn't TD. Disgusting.

Amare got a tech for clapping before but Baron did much worse. I just hope that they don't suspend those two, now that would piss me off.

Baron kept going and pushed it, what was he expecting?
^^Jesus, I knew that Crawford getting suspended would bring among this kind of conversation. Crawford got suspended because of what he did and because of what he said...It had NOTHING to do with it being Tim Duncan. The Pestilence, you are ridiculous for saying that they wont take action becasue its Davis and not Duncan. I for one didnt see what happenned, but if it was honestly as bad the Duncan incident, there would have been more talk about it....
please I am not trying to hear the bs about baron davis pushing it, the first tech he got was bs, and the second one was also garbage also, almost every other foul call players clap, and has anyone considered the possibility, the maybe he was clapping not to upstage the self conscious ref, and have been doing it to show the fans that their not getting to him and making light of the situation, I meen might be wrong even though players in the nba and other sports do it all the time, but eh who knows
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Crawford got suspended because of what he did and because of what he said</div>Good point, Crawford saying he wanted to fight Tim Duncan definately had to factor in his suspension in a large manner with the post brawl NBA.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>please I am not trying to hear the bs about baron davis pushing it, the first tech he got was bs, and the second one was also garbage also, almost every other foul call players clap, and has anyone considered the possibility, the maybe he was clapping not to upstage the self conscious ref, and have been doing it to show the fans that their not getting to him and making light of the situation</div>Please, explain to me why Baron Davis would clap for that long? And it's not the first time for a tech to be called for clapping.I honestly don't see any reason to defend this by Davis. I mean this is the playoffs, you have to play smart. Calls happen either way and your bound to get frustrated. It's how you handle yourself when that happens, that determines how you do. And Baron played it dumb.

Barnes and Terry didn't get technicals, Baron did. Jackson, who had no part in the scuffle and in fact raised his hand to say "I fouled him", also mysteriously got a tech during the exchange. Then, in a sequence I must have rewound and watched 10 times, Baron clapped..... and got thrown out of the game. It was much more ridiculous than the Duncan debacle, especially given Salvadore's history of screwing the Warriors. Prior to the game, Warriors commentator Bob Fitzgerald said "I think it'll be a close one, unless Salvadore is reffing the game, in which case we'll lose by double digits". And I can't believe that you have the gall to attack my comment so vehemently if you didn't even see what happened. Lets all be little automoton droids and believe everything we hear on tv. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Playoff basketball. Teams have to play smart and composed. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>So your argument is that a referee screwing up in the regular season is unacceptable but in the playoffs it's fine?</div>Refs screw up, it's how the players react afterwards that leads to this. And like I said, Warriors weren't composed or smart when it got chippy. And playoff basketball is going to be chippy, refs let things go more in the playoffs.

Great win for the mavs tonight. I guess going big was the key. The system the mavs run definitely works better with a big like Diop and Dampier setting picks and dominating the offensive board. It also helps that Baron Davis was not on fire tonight. I think this will be a tough series but I think the mavs are figuring out how to slow down the game enough to win. Maybe Dirk will get rid of the jitteriness and stop pressing.
I really can't believe you're playing the victim card, Pesty. I mean really, the first person to touch another player after the whistle was Baron Davis. He whined about nearly every call down the stretch, even if it was an obvious call. Then Jackson was typical in being a little sh*t. Let's face it, you're a little frustrated because your team had a chance, then you all got frustrated and lost your cool. There was one bad call against the Warriors and it had nothing to do with technicals. Also, Terry and Barnes did absolutely nothing in that confrontation, they were basically just standing there. Jackson came from the other side of the court and jumped in mouthing off.Baron Davis got thrown out because he was being snotty to the refs, not because he was clapping (I mean, he got ejected because he was clapping, but it was the sarcasm involved that got him gone). And he got a warning, so he had plenty of time to stop.
