Kawhi / James rumor https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nba/kawhi-leonard-reaches-out-to-lebron-james/ar-AAzjDc2?li=BBnbfcL Edit: Looks like that was posted 19 hours ago. Sorry if you all have already hashed that out.
I don’t know if anyone can beat Warriors, but if they can make a run like Rockets did last season I think most Portland fans would be happy... and I think Dame and Kawai can equal Harden and Paul
believe me dude....it's no big deal....my posts were about basketball....others made them about me....that never goes well as you know...attack the post not the poster used to be the rule...somebody talks smack and you reply....you're tagged as defensive....I could give a shit...done
Shams just tweeted that Lonzo has a torn meniscus. Will be out til the training camp. Guessing that's gonna affect a potential kawhi deal
Sure. Also... Boston and philly can blow any offer for cousins out of the water. (More Boston). Boston and philly could blow any offer for paul george out of the water. Etc.
Phoenix could offer Josh Jackson, TJ Warren and the Bucks pick. That’s a good offer I guess. I think Jackson should easily be worth more than anybody Lakers will put in their offer and TJ is a good rotation player. Maybe even Bender who I think would be a valuable piece for Pop. Kawhi, Booker and Ayton could be competitive this year but they’d need to really do well in free agency with the acquisition of fringe and rotation players. Their situation at point guard is bad, currently they will be starting either Knight or Ulis there, neither is remotely enough. They would still have some trade assets - Marquese Chriss, their picks etc.
Well they could have at the time. They didn’t want to. In Cousins case Boston were probably not interested due to character, in George’s case Boston were invested in Hayward while Phila thought they had it all when Fultz came. I kind of get why neither of them moved for Cousins or George (or Butler for that matter). The issue when you have as many enticing assets as Boston is that the other team will ask for a lot when you approach them with the offer. They have two very valuable picks - Kings and Grizzlies, they have several young players of very high value. You could comfortably get Kawhi if you gave them Tatum and Kings pick for example but you would obviously never do that.
Which effects LeBron too, because I don’t think LeBron wants to play with Lonzo and deal with his father making headlines about him and his team.
