I would hate that move unless for vet minimum but you just know Olshey would give him MLE.

Sounds about right... I mean, at least he can score off the bench and take away ET playing time.

No thanks, the guy is a headcase... and to come to a city with legalized marijuana does not increase the chance he stays out of trouble

Beasley has been a grown up for the last few years...and he can hoop...he'd help us with bench scoring big time....at his pricetag, I don't see the downside....Pat Connaughton and Jake Layman are really nice guys, yeah.....Beasley would school either of them at bargain basement cost

He had some really big games last season as a stretch 4. I'd take him as a 15-20 mpg bench guy

And keep Meyers on the bench as a permanent towel waver until he's miraculously traded to another team.

    Pretty much this.
Beasley > Baseball player & Layman.
Frankly my only concern is whats Beasley's head like?(does he want to win, or does he want to get paid?)
But many posters on this site have said in the past that Lillard is such a strong leader that he could keep DMC in check.
Is it really that far fetched that Lillard could keep Beasley in check as well?

The one thing I do like about Beasley, is he'd bring a toughness that Portland lacks.

As a league minimum guy, I'd take a flyer on him. IMO He's just as good as Aminu.

He's better offensively but not in Chief's league on defense

It'd also give us match-up flexibility as he can play the 3/4 spots.

    He's a great 3pt shooter...his numbers would make him our 3rd best 3pt option..

If he can have a Zach Randolph like career arc it could be a great pickup on the cheap..but I wouldn’t be too excited

Look at all the players that olshey has brought in or look at they all have something in common they all knows how to score the ball. Now Beasley if they sign him that will be the end of Davis tenure as a Blazer. They will move Zach backing up Nurk and Beasley backing up aminu.

If you could combine the two you'd have a pretty good player.
