If you make asinine post that someone’s opinion about the current state of the Blazers, in a Blazers forum mind you, somehow defines that persons entire outlook on life, then no, I don’t think you are very smart... that is low level thinking by you... and I am flattered that you feel the need to prove yourself to me that you are smart

I have mixed feelings about Shabazz, I appreciated how hard he played defense, how he was one of the few role players who didn’t seem scared to at least try to do something.
There were definitely things there I wasn’t a fan of in his game, but overall it was nice to see a guy who worked hard get to see some success and I hope he continues to find success.
Edit: Overall I’m ok with them letting him go, see if Baldwin or maybe Simon / Trent Jr have any thing to give this year.

Just lighten up! There is no need to be negative about EVERYTHING. All we read and see is negativity from you. Why would I not think it carries over. Me acknowledging this doesn’t mean I’m not smart. That doesn’t apply.

I’m negative about everything AT THIS TIME because there is nothing currently to be positive about with the current state of team! We just got swept by the Pelicans and we need change! This is the only place to voice my opinion on the state of the team. This is a Blazers forum... I come here to post my thoughts on the team... the idea of Neil bringing back essentially the same roster after last seasons failure makes me sick to my stomach as a die hard Blazers fan... and every day that passes with inactivity it’s looking more so like that will be the case

Your constant "undersized" agenda is off base. Cp3 is the best defender on the court on most nights, and he is under 6' in bare feet. Did you watch him defend Durant? I doubt Napier will be back because he will get more cash elsewhere, by someone who knows how well he defends, despite his size.

Also, look at the draft threads, I was positive there... both this year and the Collins pick last year I gave Neil props and said good things when many others were critical of the picks.. I give credit where it’s due... I just can’t understand how after a failure of a season where Blazers had full training camp and one of healthiest rosters and rest of West was ravaged by injuries, and to still get swept... how this guy will not consider trading CJ when that is the only way to really at least try to improve the team... if is infuriating

CP3 gets away with so much dirty crap that 99% of players don’t get away with though.

Most of the crap he gets away with though is on offense. He flops on offense, he draws fouls on offense with the sweeping bullshit motion, he stops on a dime and lets people run over him from behind....on offense. But on D....he plays tough.

It's that you literally repeat the same negative ass takes over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.

Wrong. There's Realgm and BlazersEdge as well. Maybe if you spread out your posts among all 3, then you wouldn't seem so repititive.

You're sick to your stomach? Expect it. Yay, were gonna have the same team. At least we have young guys to get excited over in regards to their development and a 1st-team All-NBA PG. You don't enjoy that a little bit? If not, then why even pay attention?

Shit dude. I'm mad over inactivity too but I move on. I don't sit here and complain about our backup PG in an appreciation thread based on the dame rhetoric that I state many times every single day. That's why it's annoying. And then you sit here and tell others that YOU'RE "losing respect" for them....

Because nothing has changed... why would my opinion change. I respond to other posts when people try to sweep last season under the rug and act like it never happened... there is no way around it, this team needs a major shakeup to have a chance of avoiding purgatory... sorry if me voicing my opinion gets you hot and bothered

That’s why things will never change because fans like you just move on and accept it and let Neil feel comfortable with no criticism

And you are damn right I will lose respect for someone when they start getting excited about James Nunnally.

The Blazer subreddit is at least as active as the Realgm page too.

No one is sweeping anything under the rug. No one liked how last season ended. With that said most people don't click on a Shabbazz Appreciation thread and talk shit about the guy. The thread was started because he is most likely gone. Probably a smart move given the money he would probably have demanded. But no need to be negative in a thread created to thank him for his help whilst here.

That's why people get tired of your negative opinions.

Bazz is gone? Damn. One of my favorites. I know his deficiencies, but I love how hard he plays. More Wade Baldwin coming, or are we dumping him too?
