My god, Phoenix has come out ridiculously. Blocks, steals, hustle, 3's, dunks... devastating.

Hopefully the Suns can keep this up and it can be a blowout so Nash and Amare don't get tired. We need them both fresh and need Amare to be this active on D against the Spurs(or Nuggets).

Darn...to many offensive rebounds being given up. Better fix that or our starters won't get any rest. [IMG]

Same old problems. I don't know why they don't board. We really need to trade diaw and banks in the offseason.

That was an outstanding 2nd quarter, that was a great run by the Lakers. Kobe was unbelievable, the team defense and hustle was great, Kwame missed a ton of close shots/tips but he was extremely active, Odom was great on the offensive glass. The Lakers will not go out without a strong fight, I hope they can continue to play this way in the second half.

EDIT: Where the hell did that little Kwame spin move come from?

Well I think we came out lucky. Considering we looked like total sh*t, I'd say we came off well.

F*ck! We can't give Nash a dam layup...ah. I love the intensity tonight, on the boards expecially, but the turnovers and letting Nash just waltz in the paint pisses me off. :ranting:

Wow, I haven't seen Kwame play like this in about a year. It would have been ridiculous if that ankle injury was serious, I'm glad he's alright. He has been awesome tonight. Very active, hustling, and finishing. If he had been healthy all year, the Lakers would have been in much better shape in Game 1.

    A few things:

    1. Great win for the Lakers, I didn't really know if they would hold on, but I'm very happy that they did. Kobe was phenomenal, Kwame was excellent (also made a HUGE block), Odom was active on the boards, the team defense was there, and they played like they really wanted it. It was great to see the Lakers win, I hope they can tie it up on Sunday.

    2. Why the hell would they shoot two 3's with Amare to try and cut back into the lead? Amare?

    3. Smush, come on. Don't even try and dunk that, show some respect.

I expected 5 too, but it would have been nice to get the sweep and some rest before round 2. [IMG] Sunday's game is huge. I think we need to win or hope Denver takes San Antonio to 7. Amare was scoring pretty easily today, but got in foul trouble and that limited what he could do. Next game I hope he can be more careful at the start.

Heart baby heart. To allow a run like that at the beginning and come back and win. That showed heart, something the Lakers have been lacking all season. Take away Game 2, and this is an extremely competitive series.
