Summer league starts tomorrow.
 
Miss it being in Orlando. I mean, I never went while it was there, but now that I'm in Tampa with a week off it sucks.

Boston Celtics first-round draft pick Robert Williams, who already had overslept an introductory conference call the day after the NBA draft, missed a flight to Boston and was not present for the start of the team's summer league practices on Sunday.
Concerns about Williams' work ethic contributed to him sliding out of the lottery and to Boston at No. 27 in last month's draft. The Celtics introduced the 20-year-old big man at a news conference Friday morning, but he did not get back to town in time for Sunday's afternoon workout.
"We expected him to be here, but obviously he missed his flight," said Celtics assistant coach Jay Larranaga, who will guide the summer squad in Las Vegas. "We're excited for him to get here [Monday] and get started.
"I think everyone's disappointed. You want to get everything off to a good start in the first day, but we'll handle that internally and move forward."

I wonder how long it takes Brad Stevens to light a fire under this guy, or if he doesn't even waste his time. But damn, kid...first impressions and such...
 
Apparently he feels disrespected.

And in the SA/LAL talks, Philly is getting involved but no one wants Ball.

Why do people rate Ingram? If we're that close, let's get Kawhi. If he leaves in a year then fine, we'll blow it up. But I'm not settling for the Lakers' castoffs to help them form a fucking super team.

I really like him. On a team with good shooting and good P&R guards, he'd be unstoppable. His defense is suspect, but he's a great prospect. No way we can land him with our MLE unfortunately.

His defense is not bad. He can get out and cover the stretch 4's at least. We will see what is offered. I agree he will probably command a lot more than we have, but if there is anyway to get to that full MLE I would try. Love the way he attacks the basket. He has decent handles for a PF.

Napier to Lakers makes a lot of sense. Either there or to OKC I think.

Has Tyreke made up his mind yet?
 
A pick for taking someone into our TPE, then that pick and our pick and pieces to Minny for Butler. Then CJ for Kawhi. :pumpitup:
