OMG. He brings in Shreve. Take note there is 2 strikes on this batter.....if he gives up a hit here, he should be strung up. I DO NOT BELIEVE HE GOT OUT OF THE INNING!...... I feel bitchy......string him up anyway! Boone thinks he’s saving the bullpen with this shit.
Boone is trying his level best this evening to turn the fans against him. Had Shreve blown that opportunity the fans would have benn up in arms.
Despit some of the worst efforts the Yankees get a not pretty win. I wonder where Boones head was for much of this game!!!!!!!
Game Recap- -With Hicks 5th bomb in t/last 7 games; t/Yanx now have 5 players with 15 HR's. -Higashioka with his 2nd big league hit, both Hr's. (Last Yankee 2 do so- Soriano) -Stanton 20th Hr on t/year; and: .359 B'Avg/ 5 Hr's/ 14 Rbi's/ 1.029 Ops over t/last 20 gms. -Andujar with another XBH dbl. Yanx score 2 runs without a Hr, or a single base hit in t/3rd, 5 Yanx walk, Stanton lines out to LF, DD K's, and Walker kills a bases loaded rally. Sloppy game by Atlanta's Pitching 8 BB's. Germán, as much as I want to like this guy; I can't help but think without the run support he gets, he'd be in trouble. Nice K rate, opp-bavg, yada yada, but 13 Hr's already this yr, 2 tonight. A 5.37 Era- Tonight 4.1 IP. Not only is the trend in hitting long balls; also in bullpens throwing more innings than SP's; tho' I've got to verify stats. Seems last yrs Yanx and Bums did as much i.e. RP vs SP # of IP. Not sure at this burned out moment, sayonara.- Cole gets the win with 1.2 IP, 4 K's, 1 Hit, 0 BB - 0 R. Warren looked exhausted giving up 4 hits, a bomb & 2 Earned runs Shreve comes in a make or break situation, 2 on base by Warren, and doesn't shit the bed for a change, getting 1 K, and a groundout to close the 8th. Twice he's not allowed a run to score in t/last 8 games; but he's got a long long haul b4 he's gonna earn my trust. Chapman actually retired the side without one single incident, 1-2-3.. ***(not sure if this Recap Video- Url link [used daily here] is going to show up 3 times or once if at all.) since April 28th Holder 1st in t/AL with a 0.34 Era., Cole 2nd w/a 0.61 Era. *** back up link, since media app isn't taking
#27! Stanton did his own cycle.. He breaks off part of the right field wall, makes a great catch and hits his 20th homer. Happy 4th of July everybody!
