Team needs to improve on getting hits with RISP. Yesterday, team was 1-11. Gregorius & Stanton lead team
with leaving runners stranded. Can’t bat third & fourth in the batting order and not get runners in.
And what’s with swinging at pitches that never reach the catcher’s mitt? Eventhough they won last night,
it sure didn’t feel they did. And please.....do not want to see Walker in this lineup. He’s just not contributing.

Yup...I posted earlier that the Yanx are 1 for 23 with RISP in the first 2 games w/Braves...pretty impressive, huh?

Todays battery will be Biggie & Higgy, Game 1 the Yankees beat themselves. Last night they almost a repetition. WTF was Boone thinking putting Shreve out there? Had the Yankees lost both Boone & Shreve would have been running from lynch mobs. They need to get Toe back up and in there, kid was clutch on both ends, likes his team. Last couple of nights the squeeze has threatened to wash my mouth out with soap.

Cashman is so full of shit. When Tanaka went down with hamstring injuries in both legs
while running the bases, I, for one, knew it would be longer than the original 10 day DL.
Then it was upped to “weeks”. Knowing everything about Tanaka, it’ll probably be months!
What gets me most about this situation, Cashman thrusted on all Yankee fans that Yankee
pitching can be remedied through “internal options”........meaning the farm system.
How’s that working out for you, Mr. Legend? Waiting for him to get someone outside the
organization, is like watching grass grow. He seems to be in no rush....or he’s not even
    entertaining the idea. Stubborn tool!

Cessa, Cole, Hale, Loaisiga,.....add to them Gray, Warren, Shreve.... and what do you have?
The “internal options” that have failed miserably!

Biggie needs to be that reliable anchor that helps steady the ship.

I thought Biggie pitched well enough last year to get a contract for this season. This season he's doing pretty well and has to a point anchored his portion of the staff. Sevey is the ace, Biggie is steady Eddie keeps team in game. German is a flake, Gray a total loser. In the case of Tanaka I have no words. This is topped with an offense that is either feast or famine. I'd have to go on record and say that if Cashman thinks his pitching can be solved internally the either no or short playoff appearances will be seen. With Boone as the puppet manager Cashman has his scapegoat

With each plate appearance I see by Walker it brings to mind an old Gene Piney Tune

"In the eyes of the world, I'm a loser just wasting my time, I can't make a dime."

Gotta get that man out of New York.

If Washington cannot take one game in this series says they are overrated, but to be fair, they have had more than their
share of injuries to their pitching staff. GMs will not sell the farm for a has been refill pitcher. This is exactly where
Cashman resides, somewhere other than Yankee Stadium.

I can see Cashman checking out city playgrounds looking for “cheap” help, with the hope he’ll
strike gold somewhere between Canarsie and River Avenue. LOL. :blazerwookie::blazerwookie::blazerwookie:

Atlanta pitcher threw one legit strike in the first inning.....all of the rest were pitches in the dirt and first
three batters were swinging at dirt! That’s the way it’s been going of late.
