Guess Boone and Cashman have brain freeze when it comes to replacing Gleyber at 2nd
base: Walker vs. Torreyes. They prefer Walker. Deadwood incarnate!

On my second trip to NYC a few years ago, Annie and met "remembermunson" and his wife and on the 4th they took us to the river front to watch Macy's fireworks...We had never seen anything like it...the next day we sat 2 rows behind the Yanx' dugout and watched the Yanx beat the Sox in 10 innings...(Gardner's first walk off)

I was watching that game on tv, Gardner got that hit off of Papelbon. One of those first impressions that has lasted. Another was the catch Melky Cabrera made off of Manny Ramirez. If I could talk to any Yankee player for a while Gardner would be my choice. He's like Girardi, does some weird shit at times but when he's good he's damn good. One of his coolest moments was his game one come from behind from behind bomb against the Cubs. I had some rather heated discussions with bitter Cubs Fans over that one. As for Melky, well he just turned to shit, I think the Indians just released him.

Yeah, it was just a little 4-5 hopper up the middle but it got the job done...I still have the video I made of it somewhere.
