Just saw an article stating that the Yankees are "allegedly" showing increased interest in Machado. I'm going to hope this is a smoke screen or fake news, given the current state of the roster Machado has no place. Andujar and Gregorius are solid fixtures. Why trade for a "rental" who'll be a free agent wanting more than he's worth. I've applauded the Yankees for a reasonably priced talented roster with good years of control. Far more need for a legit 2nd starter than Manny Boy. Let him go anywhere but to the Yankees.

Unless the Yanx can go ahead and lock Machado for the next 7-8 years, why cough up prime prospects for what will amount to a 2 1/2 month rental?....Machado also is adamant about playing SS only, so if we get Machado, what about DiDi?

Trashmans legacy is an endless list of disastrous signings. I wish He'd have lunch more often with Epstein, i.e. private tutoring classes for GM's...

IF Paul Getty owned this team he would have bought the entire Crapuano train line. It's much cheaper than buying tickets on a daily basis...

can pitch, I’d have to wonder what he thinks this “rumor” would achieve? I would not want to imagine
what he would give to the O’s! The rumor mill is so insane as are the people who spew them that it is
laughable. RSPN & mlb people are talking complete crap........anything for an audience.

How many times will Cashman be shipping his chattel back and forth? I truly do not
know what his plan is and I’m more sure he doesn’t know either! One thing for sure........
he knows nothing about pitching!!!!!

Wish Trash the Cashman had some $$ stacked to pick up Machado. He would hit higher on average with a contending team. ...I definitely think that if/when he's traded, Machado will go to the NL.
