<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>CHAMPAIGN, Ill. -- Jeffrey Jordan, the son of Michael Jordan, plans to attend Illinois next year and play basketball as a walk-on.Jordan, a 6-foot-2 guard at Loyola Academy prep school in Wilmette, Ill., said in a news release Friday he chose Illinois over Valparaiso. "After I worked out at Illinois, [met] with the coaching staff and the players, and toured the campus with my mom, I just felt more comfortable with U of I," he said. Jordan was a three-year starter at Loyola Academy and two-year All Catholic League player. He told Illinois coach Bruce Weber of his plans on Wednesday. NCAA rules bar Weber or his staff from commenting on walk-on players before they enroll. As a walk-on, Jordan will have no scholarship and will not sign a letter of intent, meaning his commitment is nonbinding. Copyright 2007 by The Associated Press</div>LinkIt is going to be strange seeing MJ's son playing college bball next year. I am curious to see how good he actually is.

He's probably not NBA material, I'm just guessing. Interesting though

<span style="font-family:Arial">Jeffrey Jordan is good, but not good enough to log decent minutes at the college level. I have only seen him place twice, but his lack of scholarship offers pretty much tell you the story. I would like to see him do well, although I don't see it happening.</span>

If he is a walk on, I doubt he will get minutes. Who knows though, he might turn it around.

Idk how this will work out. He wasnt as highly recruited as I thought he would be. Never seen his stats or seen him play, so I cant say much about that. He went to a small high school though. I read it only has about 400 kids per grade. Plus hes a walk on. That doesn't promise anything. Also hes not even in U of I yet. He has to complete summer classes before he even gets accepted to the university.I remember reading an article about him in the paper a while back. He contacted Oklahoma State. They blew him off

Last year on Sportscenter they did a story on him. He actually is quite good. he's one of those hard-working kids that earns every minute he plays. I guarantee he'll be a starter within the next two years.

You could search for that on youtube also.

Anything at Illinois is possible... and if hes an up-tempo kinda guy, it should be fun to watch him.

He'll never succeed IMO because everybody will always expect him to be as good as his dadBut...I'm sure he will have a quality stay at Illinois..I'll probably check their games once in a while

He really isn't a standout like his father was and I think he could rapidly improve before the media and scouts see. He's a hard working kid that wants to be in the NBA. :dribble:

I saw him play on TV once. He's got a decent midrange jumpshot, but he definitely isn't that good. I doubt he'll get much playing time.
