    When trent dribbles into those mid range pull ups, I keep flashing to gerald Henderson. But, with his shooting, I think he could be a poor man's Booker, given the attempts

    Jake Layman == Victor Claver

    Consider it a reverse jinx. Maybe this is the year Layman breaks out and stops being that guy who looks and moves like he should be an NBA player in summer league, preseason and practice, but can't do shit when it matters.

    I want to see Layman become Brent Barry on offense and Bobby Jones (yes, dating myself) on defense. If he could stay focused I think he could.

    Trent Jr. == Vinnie Johnson == 6th man who never met a shot he didn't like.

    I think the Bobby Jones defense is a stretch. He was 1st team all defense 10 years in a row, including his rookie year.

    He couldn't even touch Sully's jock strap. And that's sad.

    Well for one...he needs to play more than 5 minutes a season to pass like that and actually touch the ball when he does..having Rick Barry as a dad would also help

    Layman does remind me of Brent Barry, but so far lacks Brent's confidence and aggression. And that's holding him back.

    Swanigan also reminds me of Michael Jordan.... He jumps like 85 year old MJ will.

    That isn't actually that far off. At the end of Jordan's career, when he gained weight, played SF and couldn't jump the same, they did move about the same.

    Meh.

    In the end, I didn’t like Nate as coach or Dumars as GM.

    Which Mike Miller? First-half of career or second? Halfway through his career, Miller became a poor man’s Mike Miller...

    I loved the Portland-Seattle rivalry. I still remember the 3OT game we had up in Seattle (and won).

    And F- Dumars and the Pistons for winning the 1990 Finals (Vinnie "The Microwave" Johnson was a killer off the bench).
