Ok let me get this right, u guys are talking hgihly on mike conley, I like conley but if hes not there im taking this kid, this kid can ball and he can run the point he has size and has a jumper, he can take over games, he will fit good with us if he stays in the draft. [IMG]NBA Comaprison: Steve Francis (better passing)Strengths: Tremendous combination of size, athleticism and playmaking ability ... Quick first step ... Excellent vision and passing skills ... His size allows him to see over defenders and make passes that the average 6-2 PG could not ... Shows great heart, very competitive. Wont back down from a challenge ... Very quick, an elite level athlete ... Loves to dunk on players ... Excellent body strength ... Rhythm shooter, with good slashing and scoring ability ... His huge hands give him excellent control of the ball ... Very unselfish player ... Excellent foot speed, overall quickness and effort makes him a tough defensive player ... Works hard to improve his game, very coachable ... Has a great attitude, confident but not cocky ... Weaknesses: Needs to improve upon his outside shot, which is solid but can improve ... Can be too unselfish at times trying to get everyone involved when he is the top scoring option ... Can be too aggressive defensively and get caught reaching, picking up unnecessary fouls ... Needs to prove himself on the college level. Become a great decision maker and learn to lead a team on the next level ...His ability to play the point guard position is very good, but he can continue to improve upon dictating tempo and learning the nuances of the position ...

Ah why all the talk about PG?Are main problem is the PF position damn people. How about starting what PF we can get?THAT IS THE BIGGEST PROBLEM.

Serge, you do realize we have three first round picks, right? Nobody is saying draft a PG with our highest pick... and we sure as hell are not going to draft three PFs. Our biggest needs are PF, PG and possibly even a SG, end of story. I can live without getting a SG because Iguodala can slide over there if needed, and the same thing can be said for Green (short term, obviously... don't want him starting long-term). I'd be happy with two big men and a point guard in the first round. As for this dude, I haven't seen him play, or even heard of him, so I couldn't really give a solid opinion on whether or not we should go for him... where did he play?

He played at Georgia Tech with Thaddeus Young, and I think that Crittenton is definitely the 3rd best point guard prospect in this draft (obviously behind Conley and Law). He is a real playmaker, he's got good size for a guard, he plays under control, and he can run a team well in a halfcourt set. He's athletic and when he wants to, he can be very explosive. He has a bright future ahead of him if he works hard. I think that if you guys can't get yourselves Conley or Law, Crittenton would be a solid pick for Philly with one of your later 1st round picks.

EDIT: I don't like that Steve Francis comparison, I think that's way off. Francis has always been an out of control player who has a bad attitude and would rather be on SportsCenter than be a winner. Crittenton doesn't have that type of attitude, and he is usually under pretty good control. Crittenton is a real point guard. He reminds me a lot more of Kenny Anderson.

I don't think I even watched them play once. :lol:Too busy watching my Longhorns. :dribble: But, if he is the player you and CB32 make him sound like, I wouldn't be opposed to selecting him if Conley and Acie Law aren't available with our second first-round pick.

Did not see as much about us needing a PF like there was stuff about PG's that is why I asked.DAMN why could we not atleast tank a little we would not get Oden/Durant, but maybe Brandon Wright that be GREAT. ARG :no1:

As long as we don't draft Joakim Noah, I'm fine with pretty much any big man we take... he is overrated, in my opinion, and I just can't stand the dude.

I also hate Noah, and think he is overrated.(Mikeballa2001) Sixers will deff lose this season ticket holder if they pick him. Now I payed for next season already so they better not pick Noah when I just kept my season ticket's or I will cause hell over there. LOL

Noah isnt the player we need. He is a defender. We have basically got that locked up with Dalembert, Hunter and Henderson for now. We need a scorer down low.

Crittenton is not bad at all, I was following him throughout the year and he seems like a guy that will do a fine job playing point for us in the future, if Billy King decides that we need him then I say go for it.

I'd have no problem picking him at all. He's really explosive too..saw him in the HS dunk contest back in 05-06. I'd be all for him and Lou Will being the future at the PG spot, if Conley and Law are gone by the time it reaches our Denver pick.
