Re: BABY BULLS NO LONGER!!!! The Bulls were known as the "Baby Bulls even today by many in the NBA even today for a simple reason. They choked 3 years in a row and had not won a road playoff game since the Jordan days and until they overcome that limit they would still be the Baby Bulls. That all ended on a Friday night in South Beach with a 104-96 victory over the Miami Heat giving them a commanding 3-0 series lead. The win was made even sweeter by the sloppy moments the Bulls showed but managed to overcome and finally show the killer instinct many people believed they lacked. The Heat came out with a purpose, get Shaq and Wade going early to establish the home court and steal the momentum in the series. That plan worked very well but the Bulls balanced attack held the Heat at bay, despite Ben Gordon picking up 2 quick fouls and not being in the game for most of the first quarter. At the end of the first quarter the Bulls held a 9 point lead. However the Heat would not give that easy and showed it very quickly.The Bulls did not do many things well in the start second quarter; including rebounding, shooting, passing, dribbling, playing smart defense and mostly keeping their focus. The Heat jumped on them like a wolf to wounded prey. All the little plays went their way, all the rebounds went their way and all the momentum shifted over to their side. They were even outplaying the much younger, mush faster Bulls on the defensive end and forcing the Bulls into stupid mistakes. Shaq and Wade were lighting the scoreboard up brighter then the South Beach neon. Then when I thought the Bulls had been outplayed by the veterans and lost the game in one quarter something happened, they remembered who they were. They started to out hustle, out rebound, out-shoot and out-run the older Heat team. At the end of the second the momentum had been stolen back by the Bulls and the lead was only 5 points. I will not go into every play during the 3rd and 4th quarter yet, that is coming at a later time after I review the game again in case I missed something. However by the 4th quarter the Heat could simply not keep up with the Bulls anymore. All the plays that they needed to make they did, despite Wade trying to carry the Heat out of the fire. The series of plays that broke the Heats back to me was in the fourth quarter. Shaq had positioned himself under the rim and looked for a quick score, however Ben Wallace had other plans. He reached up with one hand and stuffed the ball back in Shaqs face. Shaq tried to put the ball back in the rim off the rebound, but missed point blank and the rebound went to Ben Wallace. ?The Body? led the break and looked like he would try to take the shot himself, but then he turned and found a streaking Kirk Hinrich wide open for a 3 point filed goal that gave the Bulls a 7 point lead. The pump fist that Hinrich gave was emphatic of the reaction from the other players on both sides. The Bulls players pumping in triumph while the Heat players were clenched in disbelief. THIS WAS THE MOMENT THAT ALL BULLS FANS HAVE WAITED FOR THE LAST 3 YEARS. The big shot late in a game to put a team away, to destroy their spirit and stand over them with a cold, sinister look. That is the killer instinct that we have waited for, that we wanted to see the last 3 years in the playoffs and the Wallace to Hinrich express finally delivered it with a vengeance. I am very proud to be a Bulls fan today, this was 4 plus years in the waiting and it felt great yelling with all the other fans when that 3 point dagger fell in. These are not ?the Bulls?, but they are finally full horned, mean and angry Bulls . Congrats to the Bulls and their coaching staff on a huge win, the like of which have not been seen since the Dynasty days. I am not, I repeat not, saying the S word here. I do not want to tempt fate at all and wont do that. However, I think we took the Heats best uppercut punch and came back with a huge one of our own to send them folding like an accordion down to the mat. Even if the Heat salvage one more game, I don?t see how they can win the series. SIDE NOTE: THE HACK -A-FRO WITH JUST OVER 3 MINUTES LEFT WAS THE LAMEST, MOST PATHETIC AND CHEAPEST COACHING MOVE I HAVE EVER SEEN!!You have 2 superstars Riley!! Yet you resort to hacking Ben Wallace to try and stay in a game! That was the last thing I ever expected to see from him with over 2 minutes left in a game. I guess your team is a lot older and slower then I thought if that was the best option you had at the time.

Wow nice post, you should stick around. :yes1:Anyways, now they aren't going to be considered the baby Bulls, well that is if they can close it out, which they have about a 99% chance to do so.They have shown that they can comeback and hold on in big games, hell game 3 showed that when they were down double digits, came back. Then they were up by 9 and the Heat got it down to 3 at one point, but held on.I agree with you the Hack-a-fro strategy was really just them giving up. It was smart, but they should have just tried for a stop and show some decency.

Man I'm a heat fan so obviously I'm upset, but the Bulls have outplayed the Heat the whole entire series, I use to root for the Bulls when they where considered the "Baby Bulls" but now I can't root for them especially against my team. I still like many of their players especially Deng, I liked Deng since he was in college. I'm upset but the Bulls are obviously better than the heat. Even though it seems over since no team has ever came back from a 3-0 lead but y'all have to remember in 04 for the ALCS in baseball the Yanks where up 3-0 and then the Red Sox became the first team ever to come back from a 3-0 deficit, I'm not saying the Heat can do this because they look like a very old team this year that really need to start making some changes via Free Agency, draft, trades.

I would not go as far as to say that they will sweep, as I think they Heat have too much pride to see that happen.However the real test comes at the hands of a team like Detroit in the second round, and if they can pull that off I'm really sold on the fact that they have matured beyond the expectations I had for them at the start of the regular season.I think we have a nice core of players who play with all they've got, and if Luol can continue to be as consistent as he has been in this series, then the skys the limit, this year or next.

Dude talks every 2 seconds and stretches everything out and goes high and low like a circus announcer..what a douche.Maybe I'll just mute the tv.

Hubie Brown doesn't know ANYTHING. He just rambles and rambles and never says anything worth talking about. I can't see why anybody would wanna work with him. he talks more then Tirico who is trying to call the game. Hubie Brown better not make it pat thi season..I dunno how much longer I can take. He has become the Pat Summerall of the NBA.
