Good to hear...he'll be closer to his Boston roots in New York and he'll get a bigger role...I'll enjoy watching him play with Ed and Crabbe this season when the Blazers are off.
no....in my view they know Baldwin is a better option for Bazz's minutes...Ed was about a roster spot they want to add scoring to
No, I’m saying we basically traded Ed and Bazz for Nik and some cap space. I would of rather used that space to sign ed and let Bazz go and not signed Nik. But I’m sure Neil has a plan
I don’t consider curry and Nik an upgrade over just ed, especially with Baldwin coming on and the 2 rookies all playing in the backcourt
Are the Nets trying to be the Blazers of the East? They keep poaching all of our former players: Crabbe, Davis, and now Napier. Don't tell me they're still butt-hurt about giving us Lillard.
I don’t think they play the same positions, I’m saying as a whole I believe the roster is better with ed instead of curry and Nik. We would be better going into the season with Baldwin/the rookies/ed than Baldwin/the rookies/Nik and curry. That’s my opinion.
that's so 2016...I'm banking on the kid being a better player this season. He was way better last season...got double doubles in limited minutes....the old Meyers take is just that...to me ...it's become dated...and he's a backup....I remember when Jared Jeffries was our center and Meyers is better than he ever was...I was really disgusted that fans booed him when he entered a home game last year...I would hope folks would move on from that stigma for the sake of team momentum....last thing Meyers needs is to lose confidence again. He has the skills...just needs to shut out the white noise
Stotts needed 3pt shooters off the bench....to beat the Warriors you have to put up 130 pts on any given night....we didn't have that offensive punch last season and Dame and CJ have to score 50 to beat the contenders pretty much....I totally understand the moves so far...I think we'll find another forward before the season starts
Leonard intends to work as hard as last summer with Hanlen, focusing on his body and offensive game. He hopes that the coaching staff receives him with an open mind. My hope is that there will be open minds to who I am as a player when I come back at the end of the summer with the opportunity to earn minutes, a spot in the rotation…” Sitting on the bench for a majority of the season is difficult for a player with potential. Leonard would do it again to benefit the team, but rather wants to help on the floor. He explained his improved confidence in the limited time this season. Leonard also spoke about his stats, “I know there was a progression…If I look at all of my numbers compared to the past, I think every statistical category, minus blocks for some reason, were up.”
Last season Meyers played 7.7 minutes in 33 games.....that's because we had Big Ed....expect to see him up that court time by a large margin this season...for what it's worth...Nurk has said good things about the kid as well.
