The article says Kawhi's status is reducing the offers. Your insinuations are crazy.

Good question about the 4. I’d probably just bring back Vonleh tbh. Rebound and defend, that’s it. Maybe sign Beasley too. We might be able to get both on vet minimum deals.

Except it wasn’t a Woj article, and now that I think about it, I don’t think Woj has ever mentioned Portland as being interested in someone before a move was made.

Man, you missed me saying "the Neil Olshey version of 'due diligence'"... It's subterfuge so fans can say "Well, at least he tried" like they did with the PG/Melo stuff.

    LMAO

So if the Blazers aren't mentioned Neil is asleep and if they are he's simply putting out fake information to make it look like he's doing something. It's okay to criticize but this is over the top man.

Seriously though. What would it take in your estimation?

Yeah, I agree. Vonleh would be a nice fit with that and has some chemistry

    Dame
    CJ
    K. Leonard
    Vonleh
    Nurkic

Bench: Trent, Curry, WB4, Biggie, ET

That would be a brutally strong front line that other teams would have to contend with. If nothing else you could physically beat up on them.

How many days do the Blazers have to use the trade exception?

True dat. They also have Derek White, who was tearing up the Summer Leagues before they sat him.

What about using CJ for Love to upgrade the 4?

Of all the ex-Blazers I have irrationally fond feelings for, Vonleh is very much not one. And the only fond feelings anyone could have for Vonleh would have to be irrational.

Why not T-Rob? He shares with Vonleh an inaptitude for basketball, but at least he was fun to watch on occasion.

That one is really tough because if the Spurs don't want CJ I don't know if we have the type of offers to compete with other teams.

If I'm the Spurs some other teams have some intriguing offers (just the teams mentioned):
Denver - Michael Porter Jr, Gary Harris, and a future 1st
LAC - Something around Tobias Harris? We could probably beat their offers.
Phoenix - Has a ton of young guys like Josh Jackson, Chriss, Bender, Bridges, and Okobo plus contracts to match salary
Toronto - Has a young guy like OG but I'm not sure if they have enough unless SA wanted DeRozan.
Washington - Would likely offer Otto Porter.

Now that I look at it, I guess we have just as good of a shot as any of those teams. The problem is that list doesn't include LAL, Philly, or Boston who could all blow away any package by the other 26 teams.

I felt like Noah was a complementary player. While T-Rob was just spastic.

    Sidenote: T-Rob made no-tippin'-Pippen look generous. 50cents on a 60 dollar meal.

I'm sure they have talked to the Spurs.

Talking means nothing. Every team in the league should be talking to the Spurs about Kawhi.
