I'll give it a shot if it's on Netflix.....I was devastated when Deadwood was cancelled without a final episode...wish they would've made a movie out of that show
So far it’s pretty good, if a tad bit soapy. Costner was a good pick for the lead. He plays an asshole who’s hard to dislike. And seeing Kelly Reilly geared down (one more of my bucket list items checked off) certainly can’t hurt the ratings........
The fact that it could blow up and change the landscape of this country for the worse? Oh wait, that's what trump is doing. :MARIS61: You're welcome, this will now be a 40 page thread.
Ha! That's putting it mildly. So far, the story has played out over a month?..week?...hard to say for certain, but the lead character has already killed 3 people on 3 separate days or events. Cuz that happens in a typical cowboys life. And, of course, every one of the killings is under gray circumstances that puts him in a deeper hole, but makes us root more for him to get out. Drama! Contrived drama, but it still fun. Like the OP says, Cowboys, guns, horses, Montana or Wyoming, wherever they are filming it...that's enough to keep interest. Kind of a weak time of the year for TV anyway.
...great show. ...but I'd advise for anyone deciding to start watching it to go ahead and start watching episode #1 first and then the others in order, because if you just jump into episode #4 or 5, you'll be totally lost.
