This might be Ford's best execution of the "new edge" era (or whatever they called this design language). My Alfa is a bit more orange than that, but still plenty yellow.
That's a cool damn car. Was all about GM muscle and nothing else growing up. Now I like all kinds. I think I see a car that needs a big turbo Supra motor in it.
I no longer have that IS300 - Loved it, but it was our backup family car and the kids outgrew the rear seat. It was even a rare manual. Replaced it with a giant GX470 SUV - which is actually surprisingly great off-road, but too big for the city. I am now thinking of selling it as a failed experiment - and replace it with something a bit more manageable around town. My daughter just got her license, she is fine with my wife's EV - but the GX is too big for her. So, I might just have to buy something like an AWD RAV4 or something like that. Alternatively, I keep the GX and buy a cheapo something for her to drive around town. It will just be hard to park.
I hate spoilers. They're useless unless you reach a high speed and they are difficult to keep clean. My wife's car has a rear spoiler. I didn't want it but the salesman wanted to sell the car so bad that he offered us a price I couldn't refuse. Still, I wonder if it was worth it.
I should add that I hate them more than most people. Some of the trunk mounted ones are a nightmare to take off when working on the car.
Whoops. Lied again. Isn't gonna look anything like that yellow one. Changed my mind. Focus RS Stealth Gray
Didn't do any work on the car today. Just have to reassemble the doors and some other minor stuff. Didn't have time because I flew to San Diego to rescue another one. Driving 85mph with no hood in a car you bought without a test drive was awful fun. Thing cruised like a dream.
A little car like that would look much better painted a bright and sporty color as the grey looks like primer. I would suggest a pearlescent yellow or a pearlescent orange tangelo pearl. Tangelo Pearl is what my boat was painted (along with about 18 other colors) and looks awesome in the sunlight.
Cool! I need something that will get about 50 miles to gallon. I don't really care if it doesn't look better than me. Just need to run. Perhaps a old diesel of some sort? VW? What you think?
Make it like new and let the wife have it. Get rid of the black one. Minus some rock chips it is like new and barely worth more than the old one.
I don't know. I would think an old Prius. A rabbit pickup diesel would be cool but maybe hard to find.
Yeah, her's is on the trunk. Which reminds me, I've got a chance of buying a 2018 S60 AWD Volvo for nearly 36% off the original asking price. My wife and I are thinking about doing it. The major hiccup is that the body style is changing in December and they're going to keep that style for several years.
I've always had new ones and I've always had old ones. In other words, I keep my cars for a long time. I got half a million miles on my first two Volvos, both of which I bought new. Now, we're ready to pay cash and expect to keep this next car for the rest of our driving days. Well, we might buy one more after this since we both feel younger than our 97 years of age. Am I too old to chase co-eds or ogle show girls? Would you mind introducing me to your granddaughters?
