He was a key factor in our win and slowed down the Trio's attack. He played 34 unusual mintues and created problems for the Nets. With the injured Jason Kidd not at one hundred percent, Marcus Williams will get some extended minutes. This guy can really get out on the open floor and play, he is quick and creates problems for us on transition. Look for both to get 20+ minutes.RF1's 3 Keys to the GameToronto1. Rebound. If we dominate the frontcourt, the Nets have trouble2. Move the ball, its a proven statistic that the Raptors won immense amount of games moving the ball.3. CONTAIN MIKKI MOORE IN THE FRONTCOURT. He leads the NBA in FG% for a reason, his jump shot falls down almost instantly.New Jersey1. Move the ball through kid. This guarantee's every shot will be high percentage.2. Get Carter going. He only averaged 17 PPG in Toronto, feed off the NJ homecourt.3. Post up the Raptor guards and take advantage of mis matches. The raptors get really mixed up with the trio, utilize your size. Game Overview & Season Series Overview vs. The Raptors need this, they need the game to even out the series, the most intriguing thing will be how they play Kidd. Vince just had a dynamite 1st quarter, he was on fire. He was aggressive, attacking, he threw down some nasty slams, and he is very confident right now. I expect a much better effort from Toronto, there is still 36 minutes left, I'm not worried about it, but they need to make sure they match/exceed New Jersey's intensity level.
We need to come out and just bury them in the 2nd half. We can't let them think they could get back into the game.
Good lord, the Raptors have been playing catch up for the last two games now. Like Steve Kerr said, New Jersey could beat any team in the East with they way they're playing right now.
This game was over in the first quarter. We can't expect to just easily take game 5 though, because its not going to happen. We need to come out strong and pumped like the last two games and try to take a big lead early. I would like nothing better then for Carter to win this series in Toronto and celebrate on their court.
I said it be a sweep by the Nets I was wrong it takes 5. I think they will close it out in Toranto with out even needing the game 6 back here.
Man. Raptors are done. I kinda gave hope in this game around the 3rd qaurter. Well hope we have better luck next year at least.
