    10 Yankee strikeouts today. Gardener swinging at a ball one foot off the plate. Torres also Swung at a ball 1 foot off the plate, earler.

    Where's rhe Plate Discipline???
    I've had Little League teams with better plate discipline. You cannot get a hit when you swing at balls and do not swing at strikes....Offense MIA...

    ^^^^^eveybody and their uncles are bitchin’ about inconsistencies with Yankee pitching, but what has really
    took a summer time vacation is the timely hitting, and I do not mean the ever present HR. I have never seen more
    Yankee batters swinging at balls in the dirt and on the outside of the plate. I have been saying all year that a pitcher
    recognizes the Yankee batter will be swinging at non strike pitches, he will continue to throw pitches low & in the
    dirt. D I S C I P L I N E and this team ain’t got it!

    Yanx batters made TB Pitching look better than they are...

    Cessa looked pretty good thru 5-IP, allowing 2 Hits & 0-BB's until t/6th, giving up 2 more hits; one being a 2 run HR.
    Holder couldn't "hold 'em" & gave up another HR...

    Yanx are 6-6 vs TB / 5-5 vs O's
    Bosox 9-4 vs TB / 10-2 vs O's
