Their original documentaries are always good too. Between wild wild country and evil genius the last couple months, really high quality and fascinating stuff
Watching "Kim's convenience" on Netflix. It is hilarious. If you lived in a big city, you had an ethnically run grocery store on the corner. When I lived in NY, ours was Korean - so this one really hits close to home.
American Ninja Warrior - the closest thing to sports in the summer. Alone - Best show on TV Battle Bots - tons of great explosions Succession - Juicy, weird world Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee - Jerry is a Zen master imo, and damn funny too.
We had a mom and pop store near by that was run by an American Caucasian couple. They were cheap money chiselers. About four blocks farther away was a mom and pop store run by a Philipino-Hawaiian couple who had a daughter my age who went to school with me. Incredibly nice people.
I think it's underrated. I feel like people forgot about it because it's a spinoff prequel of Breaking bad but it's really well directed and written and shits about to start going down this next season
I watched Ozark based on the recommendations here and loved it, Jason Bateman is a boss and pretty much all the characters were very intriguing, I'm really looking forward to season2. Lost in Space was fun also but the situations the kept getting themselves in were frustrating. Snowfall is my new favorite, love it, don't miss this show especially if you are an Ozark/breaking bad fan. Also Dark Tourist is pretty good for casual watching. The Sense 8 movie was just ok, but it added closure to the series that we didn't think we would get. If you didn't watch the first 2 seasons of sense 8 they were fantastic, they planned 7 or 8 seasons but got shut down because production costs were exceeding Game of Thrones. We also have been checking out 13 reasons why, I know I'm late on this one, but it's much better than expected. There is a 2nd season out on it now also. Has anyone seen Bloodline? I hear it's worth checking out but haven't got to it yet.
I knew that. I meant long term I guess. 6 or 7 years is gonna require real stories. The first season was like all video game challenges.
@SlyPokerDog the movie American Made is based on you I knew it! Getting Tom Cruise to play you though...I don't know.
