Took the Squeeze out for dinner this evening so I did periodic score checks. Sitting in the restaurant when Britton walked in a lead run I let out with a few choice words. Can not watch the Yankees around civilized people. Upon arrival home I found that the Yankees won but it was not pretty. Yankees could not beat Tampa but the Orioles beat the hell out of them. They are due in after KC, from the fear of the Orioles good Lord Deliver us.

Shreve and Gallegos traded to cardinals for first baseman Vogt and international money

    Game Recap-

CC's lucky he didn't hurt himself doing a jelly-roll in the 5th inning. Give him an extra dozen chee-boigahaz...

KC has a wild pitching Staff. Both Romine and bird hit today several others came close...

Oh by the way the Yankees won...

Yeah!!! Watch. What the Yankees couldn’t do.....the Cardinals pitching development program will turn these guys
into acceptable major leaguers! Of course, the Yankees have no such program. Hmmmmm!

Well, this Yankee fan won’t have Shreve to kick around anymore!

Double header against a shit team like Kansas City, starters last a total 0f 8+ in both games. Eight pitchers called from a failing pen, and the Yankees struggle to take 1 against a team they should have swept. Not exactly championship material in my book. I don't think Boone can hold his own with the New York media. By the time this season is over he'll probably wish he had never taken this job.

^^^I've yet to see the reasoning behind replacing Girardi with Boone.

Was there a reason or explanation besides the standard “It is time for a change”?
Transparency is not in the Yankee repertoire!

Cashman listened to players like Sanchez instead of using common sense.

...still not buying the Yanx explanation of why "Sanchez is on the DL"...I don't believe there's anything wrong with him physically...and I think instead of publicly humiliating him by benching and/or fining him, management decided to keep things in house by feigning an injury and put him on the DL while privately telling Sanchez to take the DL time to get his mind right before returning to the line up.

...and I also don't think he'll be out as long as was originally reported...my guess is maybe another 2 weeks.

Well we found out the end result of that action. The Yankees got Mr. Communicator and we all witnessed how Sanchez mistook kindness for stupidity. If I were the Yankees I'd be looking for a way to be rid of Sanchez ASAP. In my view Romine is far superior all around to Sanchez at that position. Girardi is skinning and grinning over that turn of events!
