If you're frustrated with the Blazers this summer, prepare for the worst. Next summer will be insane, and we will likely be watchers again. I can't EVER remember so many signing 1-year contracts. There will be a HUGE number of free agents - way, way more than teams will have roster spots for. Value oriented GMs will pick up the high quality leftovers on the cheap. This will frustrate some.

A year in advance, you've been warned!

I feel triggered to say how annoyed about the Blazers cap situation and NO, but you’ve all heard it before...

So, that's LA's new Big 3 (LeBron x3). Makes sense, since Magic's other "big" signings were Rajon Rondo and Lance Stephenson.

One question: do clones could against the salary cap?

    BNM

P.S. For all you Meyers haters, I said clones, not clowns.

I did not like him as a coach when he was here but other wise he seems like a good guy and I was absolutely shocked that he did such a good job last year with Indy.
    He deserves the extension.

Kevin Pritchard and Nate McMillan are probably sitting down having a nice laugh at how the Blazers construction is going.

Yeah, I'm sure the team that was the 5th seed in the East gets off on making fun of the 3rd seed in the West.

IND had an unexpectedly good season last year, but let's not go overboard.

And yet, I'm not claiming our coach and GM are having a laugh at the expense of their IND counterparts.

Nate learned a lot from his years with coach K as the defensive coordinator for team USA...I wish him well. He's a different coach in Indiana than he ever was for the Blazers. Losing Roy and Oden took the wind out of his sails in Portland. He played his starters here into the ground and never used his bench much...I think he's grown as a coach since. Indiana hasn't played Blazer style Nate ball.

They’ve done a very good job post Paul George though, it has to be said. They have managed to turn Oladipo into an All Star and acquired some nice talent at good deals (McDermott nonsense aside). I actually reckon they got a shot at making conference finals next season.

They have done well. It's amazing how well Oladipo looked as soon as he got away from Westbrook. I'm certainly not laughing at them. I'm actually happy for them. I'm originally from Indiana and visit frequently. I wouldn't say they are my second favorite team in the league, but certainly top 5.

Just disputing that they are somehow laughing at us. That makes no sense.

Agreed. A lot of atrocious FT shooters should have at least tried the underhanded form. Evidently shooting underhanded is even more humiliating than missing over half your FTs. Shooting "granny style" is considered less masculine than shooting FTs worse than an 8-year old.

Stupid story but I’m about a 85-90% ft shooter, unless my dads around and I’m like a 60% shooter. It doesn’t matter if there’s a crowd or whatever I have always been a good ft shooter, he shows up and it’s like my brain goes crazy I start thinking about my form and I become a wreck... don’t know how this is applicable... lol
