Holy bejesus! The Orioles spanked Sonny and he didn't even last 3 innings. What a let down.

If this is true that he’s laughing as he is walking off the mound to the boos then the Yankees need to get rid of him. Not send him down to the minors but just flat out get rid of him. That’s a cancer you DO NOT want or need on a team. This is insane. Can’t wait to hear Boone’s dumbass commentary after the game about this and hear his list of excuses for Gray. Gray should be DFA’d honestly and let a team have him for international spending money a la the Warren trade.

Combination of struggling pitching and inept hitting makes the Yankees very average. They are
in for a fight to hold on to a wild card position.

Upon hearing that Yankee GM hired Boone to be Yankee manager, my first reaction was ....”he is too docile, in temperament and mentality, and he has no valuable experience....” Boone is proving to be a nice guy, making many mistakes while learning on the job. This is what Cashman wanted.....a manager who will conform to management’s policy on and off the field. The many player moves was all Cashman......Boner just followed suit. I wonder if Boone lost his players?

Why hold on to players who are having a tough time contributing at the plate & on the mound?
Making piecemeal moves into the dog days of August will and is having an effect on the players.
It is up to Boone to help the players, especially the younger players or is he leaving that task to the
experienced/ unproductive teammates? Big problem if this is true.

Nice Torres but I think it's too late.

Well, it is off to Boston and is being advertised as a”epic confrontation”. Only a stupendous sweep in Beantown
would give credence to “epic”. But these Yankees, thanks to horrendous pitching & weak hitting, are limping
into Boston.....not looking very formidable. At best, we can dream.

    Problem:
Your team has lost 11 in a row, your game pitcher has lost 14 games this season.

    Solving Problem: Play the Yankees.

Too much too little too late today. Hey Cashman, your pitcher who got his ass whipped in Yankee Stadium again was smiling while getting booed off of the Field. What 'cha gonna do about that ??????????

I'd be willing to bet that if one were to survey the Yankee Players and get honest answers most would wish that Girardi was still there. Losing his players, I thought about that when Stanton went up there half as swung and missed three times. Looks like Cashman got what he wanted, an inexperienced "Casper Milquetoast " who has no sack or filling.

One positive from this game: Lance Lynn pitched a good 4.1 innings in his Yanks debut.

I’d be shocked if they actually did that. Would love it but this team doesn’t have the balls to do that.....just see Sanchez.

Forget the “ not ruling out” bullshit and make the right fucking decision to get him out of the rotation....here’s another
damn wishy-washy remark by this puppet manager....as I believe, Cashman is running this ridiculous show and he’s
made a mockery of Yankee manager.

He obviously sucks as a starter. It's time to convert him to relief pitching or send him to the minors and get his shit together.
