This reminds me of the old hunting story about the guy that shot his buddy hunting. He rushed him to the hospital, but to no avail. The doc said, well I might have been able to help him, if you hadn't cut his throat!
I also doubt there is a cop alive that wants to be caught not firing a round while a woman gets her throat cut in front of him.
Yeah, and being that this was the second woman he was or had attacked with a knife..ending the threat would have had to been front of mind awareness.
The poorly-trained, obviously incompetent police should have IMMEDIATELY recognized that the ARMED guy was just a few steps from the bystander and should have been shot the first time he refused to follow orders, thus eliminating the threat to any innocent bystanders. The city will be sued for millions, lose or settle, but an innocent life was lost due to yet another failure of entrenched leftist politicians.
