<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>After two lopsided losses in New Jersey in which Toronto looked nervous and overwhelmed, Raptor center Rasho Nesterovic, who won a championship with the Spurs, said his team might not have been mentally prepared for the challenge of playoff basketball."We just didn't play like we should," Nesterovic said at practice Monday. "If you're not ready, teams are going to jump on you early. That's what they did from the beginning."We were kind of thinking that we were ready, but we probably weren't."</div>http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/458...off_basketball/<span style="font-family:Arial">Rasho Nesterovic obviously has a point. He deserved to get more playing time himself, based on his past post season experience.</span>
This team, in a way, was about a year early in terms of making the playoffs. I wanted them to really go deep this year, but they are in a hole at this point. I think they can tie this thing up and maybe win it, but someone is going to have to step up and start making plays to counter Kidd and Carter.
Rasho is right, we didnt prepare enough, and playoff experience killed us, I just think we are a predictable team, high screen and roll, swing around the perimeter, Bosh iso, TJ iso, screen for anthony and jump shot, Ive seen NJ gaurd all of those.

Tonight, Mitchell has probably talked about something at practice to help them at least win this game at least. At least win the last home game before we get eliminated.
I agree 100%.We lost focus in alot of these games, we weren't able to rise above the pressure, we had huge scoring droughts. Just a terrible series for us so far. Now we are probably going to be eliminated.Well boys, it's been quite a ride...
I will also say that we weren't prepared about the Jason Kidd's FAKE KNEE INJURY I suspect it to be fake. And then getting our hopes up making us think that well will win, but it turned out Kidd has played amazingly great in the past 2 games.
How can you blame Raptors sucking on Kidd's "fake knee injury"?They should've prepared for the game with or without Kidd...It is just lack of playoff experience and New Jersey's bundle of it that is killing Toronto
That fake knee injury was pretty smart though, if it was fake. The series isn't over yet though.. although its quite a strech to actually win 3 games in a row, you never know.

even if we do get eliminated in the first round at least we have some wins under our belt, thank god we are not going out like the Grizzlies..being swept in the first round 2 years in a row.
Our best player hasn't even played a playoff game. New Jersey's Big three has playoff experience. Other players (Bargnani, Calderon, Parker) have euroleague experience, which could translate into playoff experience
