So, you're saying that there is a 90% chance that Gerald becomes a superstar? :HAHAHA: It's one thing to be a fan of a player, but you can't be serious about this. Come on, stop making Celtic fans as a whole look bad.

EDIT: Link doesn't work for me, by the way.

The celtics I think are going to be a pretty damn good team next year. If Paul can stay healthy, they have SO much firepower to assist him with. Not to add the edition of a most likely 1 or 2 pick. Al Jefferson is playing great, Gerald started to play good, Delonte, Rondo, Gomes, and more...They are going to be good next year.

next year comes down to the intangibles and cohesiveness.this team has talented players.can they jell and play some solid team D?can they work the ball on offence and take good shots? (that means you Gerald)will Rondo work hard on his game over the summer and make the improvements needed to a successful starting PG in the league? Can a healthy Paul and Al work together and dominate without being detrimental to each other? If this team can come together and make the little smart plays that makes a team successful, then they could challenge Toronto for the division title and win 42-48 games next year.If they don't jell, suffer tons of injuries and don't improve on the small things, then it'll be another painful year.

Ive seen GG5 play a few times...unless he can somehow become a awesome passer and defender(not saying he cant though) he will most likely end up like a Richard Jefferson or Q. Richardson(Phoenix prime version) type of player. He can dunk, and he can shoot pretty nice. I havent seen much of anyhting else from him. He can still improve and jump out as a superstar like Tmac or J. Oneal...but those guys were pretty much buried on the bench...GG5 isnt really.

He would have been if Pierce, TA, and Wally were healthy all year. Gerald would have gotten 5-6 mpg (or something around there) again. As of right now, yes, he's just a scorer, but I'm not worried about him. He's 21, 2 years out of high school (where he only played 2 years of HS ball, mind you), he needs more time. I think Gerald will break out within 2 years.

No doubt hes got talent...hes going to be a somewhat star...but Its really a question of what kindve star. Theres the Bgrade stars(Mike Miller, Richard Jefferson, Manu Ginobli etc), then theres stars, then theres superstars. I think worse case scenario is hes a B grade star. Hes got upside, but I dont see superstar upside.

I don't think he'll be a superstar either, but I think he's got a great chance at being a 20 point scorer in this league. There is no doubt in my mind the kid can score and he will always be a deadly scorer, but I don't think he'll ever be able to do other things to elevate himself to be a serious star. I think best case, he sneaks in for one All-Star game. I think realistically he'll be a 20 point scorer though, or close to it.

Ricky Davis is a good talent, man. I see Gerald at least being on the same level as Ricky, but he does have the potential to exceed that. He does have good work ethic, so we'll have to wait and see, but he'll need another year and half to 2 years before he really starts to truly establish himself, IMO. But realistically, he'll be a Ricky Davis/Rashard Lewis type of player.

Gerald Green. At his peak, he'll average 29/5/3

Yeah, when I said "that would suck" I was refering to how some Celtics HATE Ricky Davis. IMO, hes a underrated scorer and passer.

:HAHAHA: at 29/5/3, you need help, but Ricky's attitude has nothing to do with the caliber of player.

I still love Ricky. If you want my opinion, 8/10 Celtic fans that say that "hate Ricky Davis" now are ignorant and won't admit that they loved him while he was here. But just because he's not a Celtic anymore, those fans are calling him a cocky ***hole. Yeah he's cocky, so what? He's not a bad guy, he has cleaned up his attitude (there is a difference between his attitude problem in Cleveland/Charlotte and his cockyness now). Ricky is a hell of a ballplayer and I agree with you austin, he is underrated.

I love Ricky Davis. Even though he was a dipshit to us and disrespected us after he hit that shot in Minnesota, I still love the guy.
