if you compared Bill Maher to Alex Jones you'd have the spectrum of opinion based commentary.....the AP news feeds tell me what is happening with world events, volcanos, weather, sports scores..fires...protests etc..don't confuse their editorial columns with news...Bill O'Reilly isn't a newsman....he's a shock jock as are Maher and Jones....I for one am sick of the war against the media by the administration when clearly, there are world problems to solve and address...editorials have always required followers to prop up their own beliefs with those of a public speaker....news is not that. Compare Maher and Jones....not Jones and OPB or the AP news feed shared by the entire world daily. Jimmy Kimmel and Roseanne Bar are not jounalists….many, many brave war correspondents have lost their lives on the battlefield...they are not "fake news"

For what it's worth I've never thought DLJ was racist by any stretch....he's usually quite civil even if I disagree with his opinions at times...I'm sure there are actual racists that post in the forum..but that's my view of them and usually tied to their way of posting...some may just be trolling for argument sake which is pretty sad if you ask me

I don’tike it. I understand it’s a private company but it worries me to censor any opinions even ones that are harmful and pure BS like infowars. I would much rather YouTube not ban them but 1) stop all adds on that feed so no money is made by either YouTube or Alex Jones from YT, and perhaps a warning and active acceptance to view the material before it plays.

But outright banning - one day my opinions will be counter-culture and then will that be banned?

 

They all gave Jones a lot of rope and he put it around his neck....if the American Nazi party started advertising on the Blazers website, or Toyotas website , etc...they'd lose my business...market analysts surely showed that infowars was losing them business...they can ban who they like...they aren't the govt....you realize the Nazi Party and KKK or the American Communist Party would love to be represented in the presidential elections but they are banned as well from any media outlet who sees them as a bad risk for viewership....this is nothing new Bill Maher was fired from ABC for his politically incorrect TV show that aired in competition with Letterman and Leno....he was losing them money and people complained...no more Politically Incorrect show....what's the diff with Infowars?

 

I have never seen his show or any show regarding politics as I think both sides are raving lunatics only concerned in getting as much cash as they can from us 'regular people.

I have never said that everyone who voted for him is racist. That's simply not true. But after all that's happened, I can unequivocally say his side is racist. Those that have a hard time recognizing this need to decide what side of history they want to reside on.

 

Yeah..you have some good stuff. I will address as I go through it. Yeah, AP is a great News Feed. I also have stated that I am tired of the President fighting the little battles with the media. Hmm, Bill O is a mixed bag..just like his books. I have read them all, although they, I am quite sure by design, all read the same, so meh.

As far as AP and OPB being equal, I would differ with you on that. In fact I have made a practice of cross checking stories to see who covers them, and how, and OPB always has a very left leaning slant, while AP is usually just the facts.

To hit the patriotism button, with war correspondents is almost the funniest thing I have read today, brings to mind hillery "under fire" and imagining some of the talking heads performing anything of the kind as laughable.

Yeah..I have seen some outrageous stuff on YouTube, that never got a sniff. What is even more suspicious is that it was not just one medium, but all of them at the same time.
