Got in on the conversation late but LMFAO at someone saying a rookie is in the most improved team. And if Monta Ellis, Jose Calderon, and Jason Kapono are not on the list, just throw your list away right then and there.
Kapono and Calderon? Theyve improved...(atleast one has, Kapono hasnt improved much IMO), but Monta Ellis, Deron Williams, Mo Williams, and TJ Ford(who almost made my list) have improved more with their impact on the game AND their stats. About Ellis though, I have to agree hes a must on the west list.

Deron Williams somewhat fell off towards the end of the season. How can you say that Jose Calderon did not improve bit time. Other than Bosh, he is pretty much leading the hell out of that team. Without him, they would not have anything. I saw one of the playoff games and the entire team could not to sh*t, but Calderon was just sitting back and knocking down shot after shot. Calderon is an unmentioned beast. As for Kapono, if it wasn't for him, the Heat would have fell far behind when Wade went down. Kapono was there knocking down shot after shot, keeping some of the pressure off of Shaq so he could do his dirty deeds down low. Kapono was barely ever even mentioned last year, and now being their 3rd guy in the offense, thats improvement if you ask me.
I agreed that Calderon improved, but not more than Mo Williams or TJ Ford. And Kapono only needed minutes..he played very well for Charlotte, and now since hes getting more PT, hes showing it again in Miami...hes always been solid.
I'm actually going to extend on melofan's post as in, I retract saying Kapono should be on the team for the simple fact that Luol Deng and Caron Butler beat him out for forward EASY. Andre Iguodala is definately one of the guards as well but I would still go with Jose Calderon as the second guard. He shows me tremendous leadership in what I've seen from him. I was going for more of an all NBA team but once you try and break it up between East and West, it makes it a bit easier to choose guys for each.
