Re: Favorite player who didn't make the pros? Louis Hinnant, former Boston College point guard. Loved the kid.
Re: Favorite player who didn't make the pros? Ed Cota UNC Point guard who played alongside Jamison, Carter and Haywood in 97

Re: Favorite player who didn't make the pros? I think The Goat is a given for pretty much anybody who knows about him...Shannon Crooks from UMass...guy was absolutely sickhttp://youtube.com/watch?v=G4fyyOPBjVUHe's playing in Europe now I think
Re: Favorite player who didn't make the pros? UNC forward Jawad Williams. He may be in the NBDL, not sure, though. I always thought that he was the forgotten guy on the UNC star-studded team that won it all in '05.

He used to play for Ohio State, and I met him at a couple basketball camps a few years ago. He was one of the coaches at the camp, he's an unbelievable shooter, and he's a great guy. He never made it to the NBA, but he did get offers to go play overseas. He didn't take them because he didn't want to have to go to a brand new country and adjust his entire lifestyle. He coaches high school varsity basketball in Mass somewhere, he's still in his mid-20's.

Re: Favorite player who didn't make the pros? Former U of A point guard Jason Gardner. Had he been 4 inches taller he would be in the NBA right now :no1:
Re: Favorite player who didn't make the pros? It'd have to be Richard Midgely (sp?) for Cal. Back when I was in Cal basketball camp I used to hang out with him a lot. He was an unreal shooter; I saw him make 20 threes in a row with his eyes closed once. Also Rod Benson for cal. He was 6'11" 180 pounds at one point. His strategy for gaining weight? 10 sodas per day, he ended up being a double double player by the end of his career. He was my coach in cal camp and we had a battle royale with him, it was funny

I never even liked OK, but Hollis was sick. Not that he was one of my favorite players, but anyone remember Aloysius Anagonye? :HAHAHA: I ran across his name looking for old college players.
