    Torn hip labrum surgery. Not a surprise but just a reminder of his hideous contract. Still owed $21 million in 2019 and 2020. Can be bought out of 2021 option for $5 million.

    ...Cashman has signed his share of failures in the past that we've been forced to endure but Ellsbury's contract will be talked about for awhile.
