"Democratic socialism" is the funniest phrase I've heard today. Talk about an oxymoron. Is that the thing to do now? Take something inherently un-democratic at its core and shove the word "democratic" in front of it to make it more palatable for the entitled college brats you're selling it to? I can't say it isn't working though.
Like I said, you have no fucking clue. Look up countries like Finland, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, etc.
There are a lot of unsafe and shitty places to live here in the US. Seems like we are having enough trouble stewarding our own country. Stop trying to twist peoples words. Your the one who openly hates anyone who isn't a white American. You hate Mexicans and showcase it in your many ignorant and racist posts.
You seem to be putting your own label on it in an effort to control the narrative, all to trash a concept that you obviously dont understand or care to. That is what I consider undemocratic.
Your local community is a bunch of anti-American slave-owners, refusing to pay a legal wage and payroll taxes. Greedy thieves preying on illegal aliens while destroying the retirement of millions of hardworking law-abiding citizens. Own it.
Where do you get this crap from?...Seriously, do you simply type anything that enters your mind, whether it has merit or not? Like Trump and many of his supporters, simply saying/tweeting/typing something does not make it factual.
Maybe I don't, but no need to accuse me of being uniformed about the marxist socialism Ive seen around the world in my almost 70 years.
No, you don't seem to have a clue of what socialism is. My question went unanswered. Do you support the military?
Yes I do, 100%. The number 1 responsibility of our Government is to protect us as a people from foreign an/or inside enemies. I don't have a problem with supporting a limited government as I think when gov gets to big or in the way its stifles freedom and prosperity. Im of the feeling that government is way to big now and very inefficient. I understand that this democratic socialism is supposed to be a hybrid mix of democracy and paying for every government program. Thats where I have an issue as I think we pay way to much now in taxes. I covered the whole country of Canada for 20 years and got to know many of the great Canadian people. Most, everyone would tell me they disliked the national socialistic medicine, and would rather what we can have down here, the opportunity to have it or not and purchase as you see fit.The fed takes approx 60% of their income and the Government subsidizes most of their industries (Airlines, Mills, etc.).
Then you support one of the most socialist entities on the planet. Lots of "big government" hyperbole in this post. It's like it's been fed to you and you didn't question it.
Yes, we've all heard of those countries man. They are a fraction of the size of the United States, and they are currently experiencing severe growing pains that their system isn't designed for, i.e a shit load of people who don't work. Giving all your money to the a government isn't going to solve any of our problems, especially when the government grossly misappropriates money as it is, which brings up your other question. I don't support the way our military is currently run, no. Too big, too expensive and too far up the ass of every other country on the planet. I support a defensive military, and I've always supported those who serve. Proceed on telling me how I'm actually a socialist and just don't know it.
Wrong. We're paying the lowest taxes we've paid in 50 years and they just got lower. And you just pulled that 60% number out of your ass.
