    We don't need Okafor..would be a waste of a roster spot. We have 3 7ft players..4 bigs over 6'8

So height is how Portland should look to ad to their roster?
Will forward this to NO. Then he'll stop targeting players over 6'8

no need...got em already.. .the game has changed from lumbering 7 fters….Chief at 6'9 has the same wingspan as Nurk...you must really miss that Pappa G on the bench..Nurk, Collins, Meyers....that's our center rotation without playing small ball...get yourself prepared...Meyers will play this season

We had 5 centers last year...paid two to waive towels...this season we have 7 bigs...8 guards/SFs

If the alternative is trading for Ryan Anderson, I prefer nothing.

    Stop making assumptions.
I never wanted the Sac player in the first place.
I've said multiple times Nards will get minutes this year and rightfully so.
I even told someone who you go after regularly for no reason. That Nards will more than likely get the first look at the backup 5.

Insert @riverman claiming I just made this personal.

If you don't realize I was mocking your post about saying Portland will no longer target players 6'8 or taller.
Knowing the height of KD, LBJ, Freak, etc. Then I don't know what to tell you.
    Get a sense of humor.

It's weird, I haven't come into a season feeling this resigned about us being "one of a pack of many" in recent years.

I had the same feeling last year... I think it gets better knowing it's not that long until we don't have to pay ML and ET even if they don't get traded.

All it'd take is one James Johnson level player to get me feeling good, which is kinda sad haha.

At this point in the off-season, I either want a trade or for Neil to make sure he's as far away from a microphone as possible...

Eh. I assume with a healthy Lillard. Portland will overachieve. I mean it's what the man does.

Reminds me of when I was a kid watching the Pacers in the playoffs.
little known fact, when I was a kid and the adults needed a body. They'd always say Miller come run. Because I'd hit 3's like nobodys business.
    Anyway.
Reggie said in an interview a few times. 'We'll go as far as Jermaine takes us'.
To me that meant. You know what you'll get from Reggie in the playoffs.
But if Jermaine dominates inside Reggie knew that was their best chance to advance.

    Nurk is that guy imo.
If he becomes the Center he has the potential to be. Portland will make some noise. If he's not, Portland will most likely face another potential first round exit.

Except we were .500 and barely an 8th seed in 2016-2017...

Yet we got worse in 2016-2017... So we've gotten better for exactly one year.

What are y'all sayin man haha. This is the type of thinking that I always fall into in some sort of biased excitement, and then get pissed when the team doesn't meet my expectations.

    Yeah.
I know you aren't a huge fan of Aminu(neither am I). But I also know you understand continuity.
Portland really didn't have that in 16-17.
They'd get a player back, only for another one to go down.
Especially Aminu. Felt like he was never healthy that entire season. Went down early in the Clipper game and always had a nagging injury.

Edit - I don't want to talk about the other players who played like ass.
