He jumped out into the ocean After his last uplift that slowed him down. Pointed it towards the island and jumped.

He is in vegas right now at a craps table in the mirage.

Plane crashes ravage the body more than any other vehicle.

For example, John Denver crashed at low altitude in a small plane -- when they recovered his body it was without his head and mangled beyond identifying. Fingerprints were used to confirm his identity.

He targeted his employer and their insurance company.

Our rates will tweak up a few cents over it after the butterfly effect runs it's course.

What do pilots say the most often whenever they're facing a fatal crash?

    "Oh shit!"

An engineer I worked with was a pilot and got that from the FAA. That was in 1990 but I'll bet it still holds.

Flight data recorder, human remains found in stolen Sea-Tac plane probe
By Edmund DeMarche | Fox News

Investigators search site of Seattle plane crash
Federal officials announced late Sunday that they recovered the flight data recorder and human remains from the stolen commercial airplane that took off from Sea-Tac International Airport and crashed into a small island in Puget Sound.

The FBI recovered the cockpit voice recorder from aircraft N449QX and the National Transportation Security Board is processing the data. The Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office is in possession of the remains.

The plane was located and was considered “highly fragmented.”

“The wings are off, the fuselage is, I think, kind of positioned upside down,” Debra Eckrote, the Western Pacific regional chief for the National Transportation Safety Board, said. No structures on the ground were damaged by the plane, which sparked a small wildfire.

Richard Russell, 29, is presumed dead. Authorities don't know why he took the plane, but he could be heard on audio recordings telling air traffic controllers that he is "just a broken guy." His family says it's clear he didn't mean to harm anyone.

In a written statement to the media on Saturday, Russell's family described him as a faithful husband, loving son and a good friend who didn’t mean to harm anyone.

“This is a complete shock to us,” the statement read. “We are devastated by these events and Jesus is truly the only one holding this family together right now.”

Video showed the Horizon Air Q400, a turboprop plane that seats 76 people, doing large loops and other dangerous maneuvers as the sun set on Puget Sound. The plane was believed to be empty except for Russell.

Horizon Air is part of Alaska Air Group and flies shorter routes throughout the U.S. West.

Two F-15C aircraft were scrambled from Portland and pursued the plane but authorities say they didn’t fire on it before it crashed on tiny Ketron Island, southwest of Tacoma, Washington.

“The greatest threat we have to aviation is the insider threat,” Erroll Southers, a former FBI agent and transportation security expert, told the AP. “Here we have an employee who was vetted to the level to have access to the aircraft and had a skill set proficient enough to take off with that plane.”

Fox News’ Bradford Betz and The Associated Press contributed to this report

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I don’t care if it’s a car salesman, a teacher or a famous actor, I do NOT ever feel sorry for somebody that commits suicide. I have had two people in my life kill themselves and it is a chicken shit way to go out, plain and simple. There are loved ones, kids and spouses left behind completely traumatized by it. When I see people celebrating and giving shoutouts the other day to Robin Williams on the anniversary of him killing himself it made me sick to my stomach. He left a family behind and people need to think of them. May seem a bit harsh, but my girlfriend who I broke up with my senior year of HS killed herself 2 weeks later and it fucked up a TON of people. I still have built up anger towards her. Fuckin ripped her whole family apart. Parents split up, dad went on a drinking and drug binge that led him to go to prison, little sister became a complete nut job after it........ all because she couldn’t deal with real life. Save the compassion for the survivors and the family if you ask me.

So first you think it's a highjacking (wrong) and shot down (wrong) and when those conspiracy theories don't pan out you try and find the next conspiracy - he targeted his employer. You live in a world where everything is a convoluted puzzle of backstabbing, conspiracy and pedophelia, only you are almost always wrong.

I guess he didn't make it after all...unless he put a cadaver in the plane as a diversion

This is a very sad story.

I've flown in a Horizon turbo prop when I interviewed for a job at Hanford. Hanford and Huntsville, Alabama were always major rivals in the running for the top city in the USA for PhDs per capita. First one would win then the other. I think they were always one two with each of them exchanging places every other year or so. I believe Huntsville won out for PhDs with the most per capita library cards. A little interesting trivia there.

One uncle of mine was a survivor of the Bataan Death March. He eventually shot himself dead. I blame the damn WWII Japanese military for his suicide. I've felt sorry for my aunt and my four cousins ever since he committed suicide about 40 years ago.

Do I feel compassion for the agony he went through every day? Damn right, I did and I'm not ashamed of it.

I think the most common reason for suicide is depression. This was the reason for my suspicion.
