Well, if you don't try to learn, you won't learn. I learned something from you in this thread. You mentioned 3 professors who are apparently exceptions to your usual view of professors being somewhat more evil than Satan. Only one of them I'd ever heard of, so I looked the other two up. So, I learned something about them and their views. So I don't think it was pointless and stupid. Similarly, I learned something from DaLincolnJones in another thread today, about an incident with Brennan in 2012. I haven't completely figured out what it is I've learned on that one yet, but it's something to look into further. barfo
Why don't you word things like this then instead of always trying to win and sounds arrogant towards me. i don't get it. You could have a level headed response like this but instead you are constantly trying to get a rise out of me and it's been like that for a while and at times you definitely have and got me to say dumb shit but at this point you just confuse me so I don't know
Oh my God, don't let him think that. I'll be number one on his enemies list. Actually, I try not to be associated with very many groups. The only bumper sticker I ever recall having was one which supported the bringing back of our MIAs and dead servicemen. That was back toward the end of the Vietnam war. As soon as you put some bumper sticker or window sticker supporting something, someone who feels strongly against your belief is going to key your car, slash the tires or break a window. At present, I have disabled Veteran license plates and an Oregon State University license plate holder and nothing else. I'm contemplating putting on an Anyone But Trump bumper sticker 'cause there are a lot of us and I feel so strongly about it.
I will toot when I see something worth tooting, but as you have probably seen with my Trump posts, I am not a fan of people with inflated egos. Ratcheting it down would be my advice.
Lanny you’re a good dude with some cool stories but for the last time I’m not a conservative. I don’t associate with either party. I don’t like trump. Didn’t like Hillary or Bernie. Hate politics. I don’t think I’m counter productive, but I think debating anything on here with the same people over and over is a lost cause. I am gonna stop doing that. It doesn’t get anywhere for one and it seems people twist my words and make up their own context for how I say it and what my intent is and what I mean. It’s fine. Like I said 100 percent the same people who have an issue with me in person would like me but I’m not searching for that. It is what it is.

I didn't mean to imply that you were a Republican, at least not consciously. But it does seem that you tip that way more often than the other way.
I understand how it can be viewed that way. I think the reasoning is this forum has a lot of people from the left and a couple are kinda ultra progressive left. I usually have strong opinions against that so then it seems as if I’m conservative. Really I just have views from the left and right I agree with and views from both sides I also disagree with.
