No, just trying to frame the sexual abuse in a way that you don't automatically dismiss it as "all bros would love to nail some hot trim, so getting raped is ok".

 

rape is not ok....I've said that....my posts were my own perspective as a 17 year old...anyone who has been abused or used has my respect bro....my examples are just my own experiences....as I said...I do not know the details of this Hollywood story...I just still believe 17 and consensual are a different issue. The big word here is consensual....I know a guy who was convicted of this crime when he was 18 with a 17 year old girlfriend who was consensual...it pretty much ruined his life although he married the girl after she was older...the parents really made him into what folks call a pedophile although they were together all throughout school....circumstances change the demographic at times...this guy was 4 months older than his girlfriend

 

...again, WTF?...as far as I know, the charge is not "rape"...I'm not even sure the kid can prove "sexual assault".

 

He was 17 years old which is under the age of consent. Additionally, she apparently got him drunk as well.

 

...uhhh, one more time, THE CHARGE IS NOT RAPE...in fact there have been no charges filed....and the statute of limitations for sexual assault when a weapon was not involved will probably have expired if/when any charges are filed..

...how's he going to prove that she got him drunk?...she could just as easily claim that he raped her.

I understand this....and with this story breaking she's lost all credibility in the #metoo movement...I simply don't have enough info...but again...getting a BJ and 380,000 bucks....I wouldn't be taking her to court for it but that's me....he should have refused the money and taken her to court when he was 17 if he's feeling so abused....as it is, he spent the money and still called her a friend for long after the fact

 

You can say the same about the Weinstein accusers prior to this while #MeToo movement. Its just hypocrisy to defend her while supporting that Me Too shit

I've never defended her.....you're twisting my words...as far as I know though she didn't offer to ruin his career if he didn't fuck her...or offer him a job if he did...Weinstein did those things and according to 70 some women made a practice of it....this kid claimed to love the woman all along...any claim to love Weinstein? nah....didn't think so....not at all the same situations...you have every right to criticize her....just as I have every right to question the kid's motives for bringing it up now given the circumstances. She was wrong....but was he consensual or was he raped, drugged, threatened, etc.....

 

By implying the accuser should have loved having sex with her .....you are defending her.
