    Stanton tho' hot isn't as fuego rojo as Andujar, but still I'll give him a break.
    Stanton has gone from Gian-K-arlo, to Gone-Carlo,.
    His SO rate is down approx 5%, from 33.2% to 28.3%. His lifetime SO pctg/rate is 32.0%...
    (Judge's SO rate is down to 36.8% from last yrs 38.3%)
    Reggie's Lifetime SO pctg: 29.36%
    Mantle's pctg: 21.1%
    DiMaggio 5.4% SO rate
    Yogi 5.5%

    Yanx Offensive figures:
    Strikeouts- 3rd worse in the AL, only TX and CHWsox have more

    Yanx have 857 LOB, 3rd most (or worst) in t/AL, only TB and Tex have more. (***)
    Yanx are worst in AL averaging approx: 6.91 LOB per game.

    Runners LOB isn't complete without comparing the percentages of batters reaching base... Yanx of course amongst AL leaders in reaching base: but strand (***)

    Only Bosox and Cleveland have a higher OBP%...
    Yanx still 2nd in Runs Scored p/gm: 5.2...
    1st in AL in BB's, 4th in Hits, 1st in HR's, 2nd in RBI's, ...

    Yanx 4th best in beating the shift...

    4th least SB's in AL at (50), only Oakland (28), Balt. (45), Minn (38) and Toronto (35) have less. AL Team Avg is 63

    Line is on the Yankees, should be a cake walk but give the Yankees performances against non-competitors one must still exercise caution. Seattle & Oakland picked up a bit last night. The Mariners have the Astros number this season for sure. Looked like the Cleveland Pen was going to break last night but they held on. Don't know how long Gregorius may be out but with Toe in there I'm not that concerned at the moment. Bottom line keep on winning.

    Stanton returning to Miami where he used to call home. Hope he has a big night. On the down side,
    that heel injury puts Didi on the 10 DL.....bad time for him since he’s been hot. If Tanaka keeps the ball
    in the park, Yankees chances look good. Gleyber & Toe should do well up the middle.

    Forgot, National League Park, Tanaka has to bat for himself. Gotta put some sort of leash on him should he reach base. .

    ^^^^^knowing how fragile he is, I prefer that he strikes out and not be on the bases.......
    but, then again, he can hurt himself swinging at a pitch! LOL

    Well, there it is.....Tanaka cannot keep the ball in the park. Gives up tying HR, 1-1. After Yankees can’t score
    with runner on 3rd with one out.......wasted opportunity. What else is new this season!
