Tony's slacking and didn't make a thread... what a loser. [IMG] Discuss the game here.

Great way to close out the 1st half by Denver, they came out VERY strong out of the timeout. Steve Blake is drilling it. AI is still struggling though, I hope he can have himself an efficient 2nd half.

Denver needs a win here. They are my team to go all the way, and I really don't want them to lose in 5.

No worries, that last 3 by Finley pretty much sums the whole game up for you. Unbelievable shooting display by Finley, he just broke San Antonio's record for most 3's hit in a playoff game (he's 8-9, I believe).

    Denver is going fishing.

Holly balls! Michael Finley is a GOD! Denver started to panic with 3 minutes left, and now the game is pretty much over. The Spurs are playing absolutley amazing...Tony is attacking, Bruce is defending great, Michael Finley is 8-9 from 3 point land....And I just wanted to point out that if you have been watching this series, you will agree with me that Tim Duncan is a top 3 big man passer in the game today....I just wanted to say that.

Darn, I was hoping that Denver would take SA to at least 6. I didn't really expect it though and I guess the Suns will just have to do this without any help.Anyone know when Game 1 will be assuming that the Suns with tonight?

You don't need this series to establish that, Duncan is undoubtedly one of the most complete big men in NBA history.

Good run by the Nuggets. I didnt expect them to really put up a fight againt the Spurs. Just way too much experience under these guy's belt. You could say the Nuggets didnt go down w/o a fight however.

Well, I can't say I'm incredibly disappointed with the outcome. I didn't expect us to beat the Spurs, I never had high hopes. We had a solid season, I'm happy that we kept it as close as we did. It's going to suck not being able to watch Nuggets basketball until November. :no1:

He is a great passer off of the block, he makes quick passes, and he rarley turns the ball over. I just loved watching him play this series...Denver put up a decent fight I felt. They possess all of the qualities (excepet a little defense) that alot of championship teams posess. If this team can stick together for all of next year, they will be VERY good IMO. Carmelo is amazing...

[IMG] Now I gotta wait till next season to watch Allen Iverson play. All well, great series by the Spurs they took care of what they needed to be done. Denver will be back next season, and better.

Bye bye Denver. They need to make some changes to their roster this summer, in my opinion. Their biggest priorities should be to re-sign Blake or bring in a better point guard who can run the offense and hit the long ball. They also desperately need some outside shooting... Smith and Kleiza just didn't how up this series. It will also be interesting to see if Camby is still a Nugget next season (amidst those luxury tax reports), and what kind of health Martin will have next year.Next season is when we'll see what kind of team Denver really can be...

Except tonight they got out hustled, and out jumped.Spurs are getting old this is there last year to win it all next year the top dogs will be Dallas, Suns, and Denver all 3 will be the best in the league.Ow Yeah, and we held them to less then 100 every game hmm maybe our D is getting better. We just need a deeper bench there bench was to good. We need a better bench next season. And a few 3 point shooters like Bowen/Horry/Finley
