There's a Tesla that goes from zero to 60 in something like 1.5 seconds. Now, that's fast.

It's amazing what they have been able to do with electric cars.

I'm looking forward to the self driving electric motorhome. Rent one, climb in the bed, wake up in Las Vegas!

lol, there was a rumor that spread around about a guy in Florida who bought a motorhome and put it on cruise control so he could wander back to the fridge to get something to drink and eat. He didn't quite understand how cruise control worked.

I was told my AMX had a Ford 390 block but who knows..., AMC was in big trouble at the time and akso struck a deal with Chrysler for a transmission package.
...and now that I think of it, my AMX may have been a 1971...I dunno, it was so long ago...lol.

...fwiw, you'l never guess what I traded in to acquire my AMX...yup, a white 1967 GTO convertible with a 389 and 3 deuces from the factory...what a dumbass, I don't even wanna know what that goat is worth today.
...after the AMX, I became a Triumph aficionado. (TR6s)(1969, 1972, 1976)...exhilarating cars to drive, especially with the top down.

My dad worked as a mechanic at a couple dealerships for many years until opening his own shop and would always buy cars on the side to fix and make some extra money. During the late 60's we had at two different times a Triumph TR3. I would definitely like to have those now. My Cougar that I had back in high school is valued at around $100k now. Definitely would like that one back.

Always thought that the 1969-70 Cougar XR7 was one of the best looking cars ever.

Yeah, I knew a lady with a '69 Cougar. However, my favorite was the '63 Impala. Even better was the SS.

GTOs were the best. I always favored the '68.
Your GTO today would be worth it's weight in gold.
