    And I don't.
But I sure as hell hate a system that will use a dirtbag just to subvert the rule of law to attach guilt by association to any other person.

That is wrong on many many reasons.

Having someone commit crimes for you does not make you immune from prosecution.

Statute of Limitations only applies to when the furtherance of the criminal act actually stops.

These rocket scientists used the phony tax returns to get loans. That makes the tax returns and the loan both crimes.

Looks at it this way, if you were to rob a bank for $1 million and then gave $50k of it per year for the next 20 years to a guy to buy cocaine then the drug dealing and the original bank robbery would allowed to be prosecuted. Even if the bank robber filed fake tax returns explaining where the $50k per year came from it would still be multiple crimes. It's all part of the same criminal act.

    Wrong dog!
This is bullshit!!!! If you had done all this crap Manafort has done and the IRS did not get you, you go undetected. If they had caught you, then your tax prep man would have to back you up as he is as much at fault as you.
The only reason Mannafort is in this fix is because he worked for Trump. Due process did not get him, extra inordinate process was deployed because Trump is unwanted as President by those with the horses to pull this shit off.

I could give a shit less about Mannafort but I do not like the stench of this inordinate process. It does not get Trump but it still stinks like hell. It is intended to harm the President by association by any and all means possible. Unconstitutional and every person with a lick of sense ought to be able to smell the shit in play here. Wrong in too many ways.

Btw, I am not defending Trump nor Mannafort. I am detesting the break down in the application of the rule of law.
What we see in today in action is not due process, it is inordinate jury rigged process outside the Constitution and statutes.
Intended completely to discredit a duly elected President. In my view, every citizen should object to this break down in the rule of law. We will not benefit from this disgrace.

Once again, your UNDERSTANDING of the law is incorrect and has now been proven by indictments and guilty pleas. Trying to spin it any other way is simply being obtuse.

    What has been proven?
Actually nothing that required a special prosecutor. A sinful waste of money to circumvent the results of an election by inordinate legal shenanigans to discredit the duly elected President.

The domino's are falling Marazul. A waste of money is continually investigating Clinton's emails and Benghazi which has turned up nothing. Never heard you complain about that cluster fuck of wasteful spending.

...if not a "special prosecutor", exactly who is going to provide answers to legitimate questions people have? If you cannot rationally connect the obvious dots concerning Trump and the trail of debauchery left in his wake of BS, that's on you.

...and other than self inflicted paranoia, exactly why do Trumpets incessantly insist that the Mueller investigation is all about Trump?

...wait, n/m... Every time you vainly try to defend Trump, you dig the hole even deeper.

No defense of Trump is needed. So you won't find me doing any such foolishness.
Odd you should say this, knowing of no charges levied.

Somebody is really butt hurt....the emperor has no clothes after all. I don't know how many times it takes to explain that the special investigation counsel was formed to trace Russian ties to Trumps campaign staff and the interference that came from that....Trump said he didn't know about the meeting...now he says he does...said he didn't know about the payments by Cohen...now says he did.....if anyone is putting a spotlight on Trump, it's Trump. He would have been better off not insulting the national security organization or publicly declaring an ongoing trial and it's court appointed judge as being fabricated...that's tampering. The next phase will be about campaign finance fraud and obstruction. The laws are clear....they won't probably impeach Trump over this but he will not fair well mostly over his public reactions to our legal process and the fact that so many illegal acts are being exposed by his own lawyer of many years and his campaign staff...goes all the way back to Flynn and now he's insulting Sessions daily...all of these people were hand picked by Trump. Only someone in complete denial would not be concerned about the state of chaos our administration in mired in. Make enough enemies of intelligence professionals and it's going to come back to bite you...Trump has many now and his National Enquirer connections, twitter account and hiring of the worst people is an embarrassment to the nation...butt hurt Trumpette's are getting nervous. His approval rating is now at 37 % ….and by the way....after he was elected he said he'd release his tax returns in a few weeks.....it's been a lot longer than that....if he has nothing to hide...he should show transparency..but he can't or won't....a sinful waste of tax dollars is the secret service budget that follows his children and son in law around the globe while they try to open new hotels and resorts and of course, the stupid fucking wall. The butt hurt will end up with the knowledge that the only thing they've done is vote in an unqualified liar and blowhard as the leader of our great nation....the MAGA slogan is worthless when all he's done is divide the nation even more than it was before

Wow… the vitriol on this thread is indicative of the bleak future facing our country. The adamant adherence to, and violent protection of, a political/governance ideology is beyond transparent, it is palpable in so far that lines have been clearly drawn. I wish you all good fortune and peace of mind in months and years ahead... though most will have neither.
