    Had the pleasure of "meeting" (getting a bucket of confetti thrown in my face) Meadowlark with my Dad a very long time ago.

    I think it was in the West Linn High School gym.

    He was my childhood hero and introduction to basketball greatness....interestingly enough his picture was my original avatar on this site..I mentioned in another thread that I still watch his games on youtube when it's WNBA season and never tire of it.

    He joined the Trotters in 1955. I watched a game in 1963, so I guess I saw him. It was just like on TV (you never see them on TV anymore, but you did then).
