<span style="font-size:10pt;line-height:100%">Brian Hill Could Be Out Of Magic</span><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Brian Hill's second run as Orlando Magic head coach could be nearing an end."People ask me if Brian Hill will be back as our coach. All I can say is that I have no answer for that right now," Magic President Bob Vander Weide told the Sentinel on Wednesday. The main issue seems to be the team's style of play which became a point of controversy this past season."We have to see if there wasn't the opportunity to run the ball more. Style of play is one of the key things," Vander Weide said.A decision is expected from the team and General Manager Otis Smith could come at any time likely within the next 2-3 weeks.</div>-RealGMHe didn't do such a bad job, the Magic are not really ready yet to make that big run in the playoffs and IMO they need a few more players to help them out and just a few more years of being in the playoffs would also help them a lot too. I don't think getting rid of their coach is the right thing to do, but thats JMO.
I think it would be pretty stupid of the Magic to fire Brian Hill. He is very good at developing young talent, and we have alot of young talent on the team. He makes pretty good substitutions during the game, and always has a good game plan heading into the games. I like him as a coach, and outside of Stan Van Gundy, I really don't see another coach I would rather have with our young talent.

Yeah, he had big parts in Anfernee Hardaway maturing as a player(even though Penny treated him badly after all that Hill did for him,) and helping Shaq develop as a young player in the league. He is a very good coach with young talent, and will play young talent. With Orlando we need that kind of coach, as we have alot of young talent.
brian hill could be fired by the end of this week.vanderwied is expected in town today or tommorow.I heard that hill would be fired because of the way he used young guys like j.j redick.I hope they fire him.they should hire billy donavan.if not I would be happy with rick carisle or stan van gundy.I dont think we can get stan van gundy though,he is the leading candidate for the pacers job.
