Re: San Francisco's upcoming year So I'm definately extremely excited about the 49ers upcoming year. Got Darrell Jackson recently and then paid Nate Clements (the best tackling CB in the NFL, been saying that for 2 years). With these two and only being out of the playoffs last year by 1 game with a raw star running back and an injured defense, the 49ers could make a push for the Division.
Re: San Francisco's upcoming year They'll go 10-6 IMO. Had a great draft, and maybe even the best Free Agency..or so far. I love their team, but about 2 years away from a real super bowl contender.

Although I don't believe Nate Clements is the best tackling corner in the NFL, I'd say that's Antoine Winfield.
Re: San Francisco's upcoming year 49ers certainly had a good draft. Willis was a great first round pick. He is agressive and quick. I expect a little more out of this team next year. There offense has better potential. Gore gives them tons of options. He is a great runner and one of the bets RB's at catching. I would like to see Vernon Davis get the ball some more also. Maybe even see Bryant get 1,000. They should be in the playoffs within the next couple years

Re: San Francisco's upcoming year I'm gonna say no better than 8-8. Main thing is their schedule. When are schedules released?

The NFC West isn't known to be THAT strong as to where it would scare. 49ers went 7-9 last year and no1 even said that they'd win over 4 games.
Re: San Francisco's upcoming year The NFC West will be a dogfight between the Cardinals and the 49ers. Clement is a great player but he won't be able to stop Boldin/Fitz combo. With a little help on the O-Line (which was actually not too bad the last few games of the season) Edge will be bale to rush for 1,350 easy.

They will be back. I would say San Fran could go 11-5 at best, but 8-8 or 9-7 would be fair. I could see them get a wild card spot.
Re: San Francisco's upcoming year The Seahawks will depend completely on how Shaun Alexander plays, but without Darrell Jackson, that just makes their threat to pass go down slightly. The Rams will depend on Stephen Jackson and how well he does after being noticed and being in the spotlight. If he settles in well and their passing game is as it's been for a while, they could be a huge threat as well. The Cardinals will depend completely on how their offensive line performs. If Matt Leinart gets time, he can find Anquan and Larry wherever they are on the field. Edge will be able to run all over the place with a line as well. Their defense also will need to step up.The 49ers have possibly the best all around team in the West. The defense has been patched up with the addition of Nate Clements, Patrick Willis, and players coming off of injury. The offense has been completed with Darrell Jackson and Vernon Davis being healthy. 49ers will depend on how well Frank Gore comes off of a breakout season. My predictions : 49ers 10-6Rams 9-7Seahawks 9-7Cardinals 7-9
