Stumbled upon this article -<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Less than a month ago, I found myself sitting with Sebastian Telfair after a Celtics practice. We had just wrapped up an interview, talking about his first year in Boston and looking ahead to next season. I had planned on politely saying 'thank you' and walking away, but I shut off my voice recorder and decided to stay. I wanted to talk to the real Sebastian Telfair.</div>http://www.hoopsworld.com/article_21784.shtmlIs Telfair really a good guy??
My good friend Jessica Camerato wrote this article (lol ok she's not my "good friend" but I have talked to her a couple times). She's a good writer. Anyway, I've been saying since the beginning that Bassy is not a bad guy... even WTJ (probably Telfair's biggest critic on BBW) agrees with that. He puts himself in a couple idiotic situations, but he's not a bad kid. He's from Coney Island, he feels the need to carry a gun. While it's still not "right," we all understand.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>even WTJ (probably Telfair's biggest critic on BBW) agrees with that</div>I can attest to that. I hate his game but I really don't think he's that bad of a guy at heart. People can call the Through The Fire a crock of sh*t all they want but it was Bassy just being real. I really think college could have benefited him not only on the court but off it. I mean instead of driving around with thugs in New York in his spare time he could just go party or something on a college campus.

He won't be packin, but he'll be around drugs and alcohol.

Would you rather have your boy Bassy crushin a few beers at Louisville on a friday night or speeding around Yonkers with some thug carrying a gun? Also, college athletes have virtual immunity when it comes to partying on college campuses.
