Game 3 is a perfect example of this. They were taken out of their comfort zones, and Golden State totally exploited every single weakness they had. They played without all of the discipline and precision they played with the whole year, and you have to give the credit to the Warriors for that.</div>Actually if Harrington didn't choke, he could've exploited having a center or Nowitzki guarding him.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>no. It's just that the Knicks were one of the top three teams in the east. People knew that their record didn't reflect their talent because their two best players had been injured one fifth of the season each. Therefore it wasn't a gargantuan upset because they were considered a very good team. Once again they were only six games behind the Heat despite those injuries.</div>Ewing was in the twlight of his career and Larry Johnson was good but he wasn't as good as you are making him out to be. You have never once talked about Miami in this discussion, you fluff them off like they were a horrible team and the Knicks were better. Miami had a great team that year. Also who cares about how many games they were behind? Miami had a better record, a better team in my opinion, and a ton of great role players.

The Warriors are worse than the knicks were that year and the heat were worse than the mavs are, therefore it was less of an upset.

Wait you said the Knicks were the 8th seed because Ewing was injured, but wasn't he also injured for the playoffs? I remember him being injured for the Finals at least so if they beat the Heat without him... unless he got injured twice?

All I was saying was it ranked in the great upset category as Golden St. over dallas, NY over Miami, and Denver over Seattle for a #8 to beat a #1. That was my original argument and I am sticking to it.

I originally said it ranked up there with the Knicks and Nuggets of 94 and 99. My upset ranking would probably go Golden St., Denver, NY.
