Nine up. Nine down. And the team is down 1-0.

So far a pitching duel. Happ has given up one hit a homerun to Piscotty.

Mengden a No Hitter through 3 IP. He gets Walker to swing at 2 pitches 6 inches inside. He gets Torres on three pitches off the plate by 6" low & outside off the plate and out of the strike zone.
9 Yankees batters up and 9 down...

A pretty good pitching duel in all honesty. Hope Happ can keep happening without giving up another bomb...

Happ walkd the first batter he faces in the bottom of the Third. That's not happening but it did...
Happ gets Lucroy the ground N2 a 4-5-3 double play. Happ strikes out the last $ 3rd batter.

A one hitter thru 3 IP, for Happ. He's got to keep this game close and tight...

Lead off batters job is to get on base. So, how can BaBoone conscionably put a slumping Gardner in that
spot? BTW, 12 up. 12 down through 4 innings.

Gardner lines up to the RF warning track, hit hard.

Stanton hits a weak dribbler infield out. Barely made contact off the bottom of his Bat. Definitely did not line up that pitch.

Cutch strikes out, after Mengden throws 3rd ball a foot over his head, 1-2 count. Strike three right down the middle of the plate Cutch swings and misses.

Is going to be a short quick game if this shit keeps up. Mengden has a no-hitter through four.

12 up, 12 down, Stanton continues to be more ornamental than useful. Was hoping McCutchen would contribute but to this point he's flopped.

Interesting to see Reggie decked out in Yankee blue in this Stadium. I will never forget attending a game in Oakland, when Reggie hit two home runs in a Sunday double header. I actually loved those gold vest and pants, and kelly green uniforms, back in the day...

1968 Joe DiMaggio was the bench coach.

Boston kicked the shit out of Atlanta again. I think in this season the AL world series entrant is going to kick the shit of the NL .

1968 the A's won 82 games and lost 80. Finishing 21 games behind the world champion Detroit Tigers. Catfish threw a perfect game that year.

One of the best 3 games stands I ever attended was in Oakland 1969 versus The Mighty Baltimore Orioles... Brooks and Frank Robinson, Boog Powell, on & on, both teams would become powerhouses

Shocker. 1 hit for the last 38 batters this series. Do you think the team is in a slump?
15 up. 15 down. One runner got on by way of an error then next batter hits into DP

Sanchez, another waste of a roster spot, Boner will be telling us that it's difficult to get back in the grove after a DL Stint. If I'm the Yankees GM I'd have great difficulty pulling Gardners '19 option out of the garbage can.

Andujar reaches safely on what was a routine groundout, on a throwing error sailing 3ft over the first baseman's head.

Something's got to give Mengden is in a Groove he looks like he could roll three up three down all night long. He's painting the black and getting everybody to go inside and outside the strike zone...

Sanchez hits into a 6-4-3 double play dammit damn it damn it... Kills any small semblance of putting a runner in scoring position, dammit dammit dammit and double dammit.

Mengden smells blood in the water. Happ is doing pretty damn good himself still a one hitter. Mengden still a no hitter one error 1 runner on base....

The one hitter overall still through four and a half innings. Bottom of the 4th Happ hits Piscotty in the knee. The intentional or unintentional hit batter. Or the unintentional intentional hit batter.

Deep Fly ball to Hix, out #1. Piscotty remains at first...
Another 4-6-3 double play... Happ still has a one hitter...
    Mengden a no-hitter through 5...

Walker hits a soft grounder in the safe at first. Second baseman was playing Walker deep for a hard hit ball and got an easy soft when they burn Walker to run it out... Close close call.
Voit up followed by GT come on guys let's get some runs

I feel the same way. Gardner has the worst rubber noodle limp arm in baseball. When he's hot he can outrun an infield ground ball but he has not been hot a long time.
Honestly Gardner has really not been hot at all!!!...

Mengden is pulled after giving up his first hit to Torres through the hole between short and third. 82 pitches.

Buchter throws the ball behind Gardner, he tries to pawn it off as a fckng hit by pitch. So damn obvious the ball never hit him, it hit his damn bat.
No Pride trying to sell a cheap bullshit HBP give me a Fkng break. This is not little league yeah I get it but have some damn Pride.

Chi-Chi' GT squanders his opportunity and gets picked off at first sob...!!! @#$%&!!**×

18 up. 18 down. Gleyber gets Yankees first hit then proceeds to get picked off at first base. Can things go so
wrong? Mistakes have become part of this team’s make up.

Happ is pitching a very creditable game..better than creditable, but he’s not getting any f’kin’ support.
