That part seems to be getting casually skimmed over quite a bit in the news. Seems pretty crazy to me, stealing shit off of the presidents desk to undermine policy making. It's clear that Woodward's voice on the boring, self-serving tape is totally mechanical, maybe a russian bot? He embarrasses himself by revealing how little he actually "investigated" anything, above and beyond "interviewing" fired and disgraced swamprats. So the jist of the book is Trump correctly and decisively fired people who stole Congressional documents and tried to obstruct the official duties of The POTUS. 2020 is assured.
