Youre dtarting Michael Gallup and Jimmy Graham bro. Comical.

Trubisky isn't owned in 70% of standard leagues...? You're gonna use that as a gauge for a 2QB league? Hahahaha. Wentz and Goff weren't owned in 70% of leagues last year after the draft. I took Wentz, and you couldve said the same thing then. How'd that turn out?

I love the banter and excitement to start the season. I hope it keeps up all season. Bring on all the crappy trade offers, bragging about your own team, sharing all of your "what ifs", blah blah blah. We are all guilty of it. Here's to a fun season! BTW that money is mine, my team is obviously the best!

It’ll be interesting how Trubisky does. To me both the rams and eagles, put really top flight talent around their young qb. The bears have a lot of unknowns in terms of the guys surrounding him. Hey if you’re right and he pops this year, then you’ll be looking pretty good!
Lots of guys just don’t make it, and I think there seems to be a pretty even chance the bears are looking to draft a QB next year as there is they have found their franchise player.
So all in all I think you have a good team, but there’s a lot of risk there too.
The reason why I like trail Blazer 18’s squad is he’s basically very good or better at almost every position. It may not have the same ‘high’ reward factor, butI just think he’s got a really solid squad.

Umm I mentioned most of your team so I don't know how I'm just talking about 10th and 11th round picks. There is a big difference between taking some risks and taking that many risks. Sure, it could pan out and you'll look like a genius but that seems like a longshot.

First of all, Jimmy Graham will have more points than Jordan Reed this year.

Second of all, when I take a high risk, high reward situation like the receivers for Dallas it's dumb but when you make several of those decisions it's brilliant? Someone has to catch balls in Dallas and I have the two most likely to be the #1 there. I also have Dak as my 3rd QB so I can play both him and his top receiver if they are hot. Sure, I'd like a little better receiver starting game 1 but I also have Edelman down the road.

Lastly, since you already said you were last to take both your QBs last year I'm sure you lucked into Wentz because you didn't have many options left. You probably could've gotten Trubisky with one of the final round picks as a QB3 and then you still look smart if he breaks out but it's not a big hole in your starting lineup if he doesn't progress like Wentz and Goff last year.

So this Bell hold out crap stinks. I was all set on taking Brown at #4, but then Bell drops to #4 so I felt I had to take him. Really messed up my draft process from the get go. Now if he plays, it should all work out fine. If he doesn't, well at least I got his back up, so hopefully he fills in nicely.

    Here we go already Bones!

Wentz has been ruled out Week 1 already and you don't have a 3rd QB so you will be starting Trubisky and a waiver wire pick up. Good luck with that!

Yeah, when Bell didn't show up Monday I dropped him down my board. It sounds like he doesn't want to come back because he's worried the Steelers are going to run him into the ground this year knowing he's gone in the off season. So even if he does come back he doesn't want a full work load? Still it's hard to pass up his production in a fantasy league.

I thought maybe it wouldn't be as funny today but I still chuckled when reading this post.

Hahaha. He'll have less than streamlining a combination of Reed+Doyle each week.

That ain't the same level of risk/reward. Gallup ain't gonna win you a league.a

I wanted Wentz, nice try though. I didn't want to risk not being able to get Trubisky. No reason to risk it. I trade more than anyone so I'm not worried about big holes.

    Best team year 1, runner-up year 2.

Graham was the #6 TE last year playing in an offense that didn't know how to use him properly. He's more than capable of holding down that spot so I'm not sure why you are hung up on him being an issue for my team.

So no rookie receivers ever give fantasy team's a big boost? I also have Calvin Ridley. You have DJ Moore. There are lots of rookie WRs that could have an impact on fantasy this year. Gallup has just as good of a chance as any of them given his situation in Dallas and the fact that he has great hands. He had 100 catches last year in college.

Last year you wanted Wentz and were willing to wait until everyone else took 2 QB's before drafting him but this year you had to take Trubisky because you were worried about others taking him? I don't buy that logic. Trubisky isn't anywhere close in terms of fantasy value as Wentz was last summer.

Didn't you guys only have 8 teams last year? Bragging about 2nd place isn't really that big of an accomplishment. That would be like pre-NFL teams claiming how many runner up finishes they had when there was only a few teams that played. ;)

You've never realized that Aaron Rodgers doesn't throw to his TEs?

Those rookie WRs are being drafted so low that there's no risk. Rookie WRs haven't done well in previous years, either.

How does that logic not make sense? He was one of the Top 2 or 3 QBs left. I waited on Mahomes, and he got taken. I took Trubisky at the point of the draft where there was no one else that i wanted. I see middle of the pack QB2 with QB1 upside. That's good value.

And I had the best team in the 1st season when we had 12 teams.

But "I'm a professional fantasy football player". Get outta here with that weak analysis.

Nah. I'm not gonna be that asshat that basis in the failures of others and the success of my own team all season long.

I believe that Graham will be used almost primarily as a WR in Jordy Nelson's old role. He's way better than Richard Rodgers or whoever the fuck has been the Packers TE over the years so I'm not worried about it.

I'm looking forward to seeing who you cut since you have to pick up a QB for week one.

I've been in a keeper league for 5 years with 12 teams and won it 3 of the 5 years with a 2nd and 3rd place finish. I also regularly win another league I'm in. Two years ago I won both football leagues and fantasy basketball too. Like I said, I'm trying to adjust to 10 teams, PPR league, and the QB being devalued but that shouldn't be too hard to figure out.

Translation: Bones is worried his team is going to suck this year and doesn't want to talk about it when it happens.

    I got the memo.
